What a damp squib after all the decent reviews. We ordered a pork chop, ungai bento as well as a fish and chips, the food looked decent when it came. The moment I put my fork into the pork, I knew it that my 8.90 was thrown down the drain. Imagine throwing a mixture of chewing gum and tissue paper into you Fl mouth; that would be the perfect way to describe it. Want to get a feel of dehydration? Go for the side of fries. Salty and simply salty, I almost felt like did not have a single sip of water for days. Worst of all, was the Unagi bento. It somehow managed to hit an even lower level than the pork, tasting like a mixture of rubber and too much teriyaki sauce. When I saw that it was served with a side of fried tempura, I felt like they could do that dish no wrong. Unfortunately, I was wrong. With a swift cut, I opened the prawn only to see that it was undercooked. Oops. Overall, with a combination of overcooked and undercooked the experience here is the perfect recipe for disaster. Ordered kimchi noodle and the picture on the menu depicted instant noodles however when served it was a different noodle and after asking the stall aunty about it she threw the blame for not specifying during the order. Even after pointing out that their picture clearly showed instant koka noodles type, she still insisted customer’s fault instead of apologising.

Following that, there was a cleaner uncle that couldn’t mind his own business and despite stating food and drinks was alrdy bought b4 and cleared away in order to make space and use the table to discuss some work matters and to put laptop, he came up to chase us away because the coffee shop needs to do business and not a place to do meeting BUT it was already OFF-PEAK time at around 15:30???? and there were plenty of empty and available...

I’d like to share some feedback regarding the cashier at the Ban Mian stall. Unfortunately, her attitude during my visit was very rude and unprofessional. She constantly shows a black face to customers and even scolded us when we requested separate soup — something that’s not unreasonable.

She told us to “come earlier if you want separate soup”. We going around 11.30am, is that consider late?! That kind of comment is really uncalled for and makes customers feel unwelcome.

I hope the management consider improving staff attitude or training — or even assigning someone else to the front. Customers deserve to be treated with...
