⚫️ My hubby and I visited Flock Cafe on Mon evening, 11th Aug 2025 and ordered:
🟩 Food 🟩 Al Fungi & Basil Penne with Seared Dory Fish (SGD21.80) — mushrooms and fresh basil sauteed in a smooth white cream sauce.
🟩 When we’re in a hurry to head home, our usual routine is to photograph the beautifully plated dish first, then scoop everything into our trusty Tupperware tubs to enjoy later. 🟨 This time, we asked for extra white cream sauce for the pasta, and the chefs happily obliged, so nice of them!
🟦 Service 🟦 Manager Mr Nandhu and the entire team — wait staff, barista, and chefs, were all polite, engaging, and genuinely friendly. ▪︎Their warmth made our visit very pleasant.
🟦 A small moment stood out to me: there was a neighbourhood small boy dining alone at the table beside mine. I asked his permission to photograph his soda drink, and he agreed happily. 🟦 To me, this spoke volumes -- for a young child to dine alone here shows that Flock Cafe is a safe & trusted space, and is a testament to the staff’s kindness.
🟣 Decor & Ambience 🟪 Industrial chic meets cosy warmth — soft ambient lighting, warm wood furniture, and a calming palette of cream and earthy tones. 🟣 The restroom, though small, was exceptionally clean and tidy, with a generously-sized sink area.
🟫 Tasting at Home 🟫 Back home, we enjoyed the pasta, and it was absolutely delicious. The pan-fried dory fish was soft, tender, and full of umami. ▪︎The penne was cooked to perfection with the right bite, and the smooth white cream sauce tied everything together into a truly scrumptious dish.

Read moreFries 10/10. Crispiness is there, saltiness is just nice. Home made burger also amazing. The beef patty is juicy. One of the rare beef burgers that I finished more than half of it. Price is justifiable, $18 for this.
My friend had the egg sally. Also mentioned that food is good and she finished up every single bit of it.
Drinks are normal. Though I had their banana caramel, is obviously syrup flavored drink. There’s the decaf option which I think it’s good.
Will definitely come back again for other food here!
7 July 2024 updates
Ordered a Shakshuka, spinach is over powering and the they used beans more than the normal tomato base. Bread is really thinly sliced. Would wish for a thicker portion though. Would rate a 6/10 for this.
Home made burger is consistently 👍🏻 nice
No service charge, and provides free lemon infused water!
Oct 2024 updates. Pork chop is surprisingly good. Though I still prefer the fries!
Jan 2025 updates Fish and chip, fish alittle tasteless. Fries is good. Pork cheek burger, more like mash pork. Taste good though.
Sept 2025 updates The in-house beef burger arrived hard and dry — after just two bites, I had to reject it. It was a shocking departure from my previous visits, where the burger was always a highlight. I went to the counter and requested a redo, confident that this wasn’t how it was meant to be. Thankfully, the replacement was much better, though still not quite the same as I remembered.
We also ordered an avocado smoothie, which turned out to be one of the worst I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even finish 70% of it. My friend’s pork cheek pasta was another disappointment — it looked more like a soup pasta, and the meat tasted as though it came straight from a can. It was embarrassing, especially since I was the one who recommended this place.

Read moreI saw mostly bad reviews about the food, but it was actually decent and really affordable as well. The pizza was on the soggier side because they were so generous with the amount of cheese (which I liked, as I prefer soggy pizza). The burger patty was actually juicy, unlike what other comments had said ,just wish there were abit more sauce but it was still tasty
As for the steak, I tried it with the red wine sauce cooked to my preference (medium rare) and I liked it a lot. Portion wise, I was genuinely very satisfied. I will definitely come back.
Also, a special shoutout to the service crew they were very friendly and accommodating. Nandhu actually let us sample their new drink when we were having trouble picking one. He was incredibly attentive and so cheerful. Yadukrishana was also exceptionally considerate. When I asked for extra ice, he came to my table to check if I needed an extra cup and also gave me more ice.
The service was fast and efficient even during peak hours which made the experience even more impressive. I truly hope the owner of this place takes a moment to acknowledge their team’s great work. They really deserve it.
