At first amazed by the NTUC rice stall but thing changed after the recent renovation. Now the stall have new hands who dished out costly food fit for kids for adults. Truly I wanted to ask the new hands, "Are you sure this is enough for yourself what you have given for customer?" What went wrong with them? Profiteering mentality during world recession?
Are their employers conscious the path they are tracking is dangerous and damaging to this country and it's future.
Everybody is aware the devious monsters in them as it always appeared suddenly. You will noticed they reacted very differently from the day before with eye contact you noticed there are some hidden emotions in them.
If possible hawker's food is not the way to go for future of the country.
Another day happened to see him eating his lunch from his stall, which was filled to the brim of his lunch packet. How generous towards himself but on the other hand very stingy towards others paying customers. Would he like to exchange what he cart for others with what the enormous amount he cart for his own lunch? His poor attitude, a miser to customer's portion.
I have to order extras to keep myself going. With his manipulation the stall is going to lose more customers.
*A good stall employed a lousy staff with an attitude problem.... If you respect an honest opinion, please do not erased the rest that was originally in here.
What kind of write out you want?
One that paint a different picture which is filled with Colours for the stall?
If this is to benefit the community, let the true be printed.
Anyway writing a beautiful picture which is not exactly what is happening is not honest and destroy the integrity of the writer.
Be fair to the...
Read moreOrdered signature noodles and fishball noodles from Ding Ji and coffee and tea from drinks stall. When I reached the foodcourt, there were very few people and I liked it as I do not want to be in crowded places with the covid pandemic. There were no queues at all for all the stalls except for a short one at the rice stall.
After I ordered my noodles and bought my drinks, it became clear why few people were dining there. At least I know for sure that the younger of the 2 elderly ladies manning the noodle stall was very rude and so was the lady manning the drinks stall. Though there were no other customers queueing behind us at the noodle stall, the younger lady was impatient for my mom, who is in her eighties, to bring her noodles off quickly and she did this by passing sarcastic remarks which implied that she was way too slow. Well somehow I had the same feeling about the treatment at the drink stall.
A very sad experience indeed, that patience, tolerance and forbearance weren't shown to people who are much older in...
Read moreHaving breakfast with my wife at this NTUC foodfare @Yishun. There are only two halal stalls excluding the drink stall. One is the Indian Muslim stall selling prata, rojak etc., the other is a Malay stall selling the usual Malay breakfast dishes such as nasi lemak, lontong etc. We order one breakfast tea set, one lontong and one mee siam kuah. My wife loved the mee siam, because the gravy is not too sour and also not to sweet. In some places, the gravy is too sour that after sipping one or two spoonfuls, we can't take it any more and just abandoned it. The ambience is like a normal kopitiam ambience, not crowded and reasonable price. Since it runs under NTUC, those members can order the breakfast set of tea or Coffee at a special price of $1.80 only until 11.00am everyday. So if you are at Yishun and need to have a reasonable breakfast or makan stopby at this foodfare, not only there are halal stalls but also Chinese stalls to cater for the...
