Last tuesday we visit the Universal Studio here in Singapore we choose this country because it was known to be one of the safest country for its very low crime rate.Me and my family was feeling fortunate and full of excitement that day.Lunch time came and all of us are so hungry so we rush to enter in this resto since this is the 1st resto we saw that offers rice. The receiving area was small so my wife and my kids sat beside the counter together with my sister in law and father in law while I was the one who approach the counter and make order. One of my son was playing with our GO PRO camera,afterward he placed the said camera on the couch beside her mom then one of the staff called us to enter and approach the table they prepared for us,unknowingly they left the Camera outside but we did not notice it at first, after eating we went out of KT's grill, a few min. And meters away from the resto me and my wife was rushing to go back to get the Camera.As we enter we approach the crew of the resto and they said they haven't seen any camera was left so we call on the manager to ask help if we could review the CCTV cameras of their resto and they said we have to follow the protocol of the eatablishment to report it to the Lost and Found Section and so we follow everything they told us to do. The Lost and found section took our contact # and told us to wait for their call as so we did.By around 5pm one of the staff of the Lost and Found Section called us just to tell us that they could not see the footage in that area where we alleged that the camera was left becauae the camera is in focus to the resto's reception counter only and the full area is not visible. We are so fraustrated with the KT's Grill as you can imagine the people entering there is not safe they cannot protect their customers from those theives around the area of their resto..if you visit the place you can clearly see what i realy ment that their cctv camera could not capture the area of their receiving where they took orders for the mere fact that the area...
Read moreMy family and I had our lunch at KT’s Grill today. We had Ribeye Steaks, Cauliflower Steaks, Beef Cheek Pastas, and Pudding and Apple Crumble. The food was very decent. All the dishes were very decent. The steaks’ doneness was spot on, the beef cheeks were very tender, and the cauliflower pasta steaks were a welcome surprise. The alcohol cocktails were decent, and the desserts were a refreshing end to a nice lunch. But what we were most impressed with was the level of service rendered to us. Our servers were attentive and accommodating to our requests, and gave us a lovely surprise in the form of a delicious ice cream and cotton candy dessert, for the birthday girl amongst us. I would like to single out Nandar and Hycinth for their impeccable service, positive attitudes and bright smiles.
The surprising thing is the price for eating in such a fancy-looking restaurant, is not far off from restaurants selling western food in neighbourhood malls if we do not consider the liquor. Read moreI came in with my Mother & my wife on the 3rd Feb 2023 and was pretty disappointed by the approach & service offered by the waitress name Hayley. On entering we asked if we can sit on the sofa table, but she said those are reserved for “Guest” only. And when I saw some people cleared one table, I requested if we can be seated on the vacant sofa table again, but then her reply was that, those seats are reserved for “VIPs” only. At first I thought probably she is not comfortable speaking English, but then I understand she is a Singaporean and she was speaking fine. I could only conclude that it was more an act of racism perhaps. Luckily there was a kind waiter wearing in blue uniform t-shirts who saw what happened and ushered us to that respective Sofa table. I usually like to give constructive feedback to experiences that can be improved, but this one was more hurtful & on a personal ground.
