A Cozy Corner and a Delightful Duo: My Visit to Le Cafe Vie5 Stepping into cafe felt like a welcome escape from the city bustle. The décor was rustic and warm creating a relaxed and inviting, chic and sophisticated, fun and energetic.
The Signature Latte arrived first, presented beautifully in a handle less cup. The latte was rich and robust, with a noticeable unique flavor notes The milk was perfectly steamed, creating a velvety smooth texture that coated my palate. It wasn't overly sweet, allowing the quality of the coffee to truly shine. This was a latte crafted with care and attention to detail, and it definitely lived up to its "signature" status.
Shortly after, the Waffle with vanilla graced my table. The waffle was a golden-brown masterpiece, boasting a delightful crisp exterior that gave way to a light and fluffy interior. It was generously dusted with powdered sugar, adding a touch of sweetness without being overwhelming. The scoop of vanilla ice cream perched atop was creamy and of good quality, melting slightly into the warm waffle and creating a delightful contrast in temperature and texture. The combination of the warm, slightly chewy waffle and the cool, smooth vanilla ice cream was simply classic and executed perfectly. The waffle itself had a lovely buttery flavor, and the vanilla ice cream wasn't overly artificial, allowing its natural sweetness to complement the waffle beautifully. It wasn't a complicated dish, but it was undeniably satisfying and a perfect accompaniment to the rich latte. The service at was also noteworthy. The staff were friendly always ready with a smile and ensuring I had everything I needed without being intrusive. Overall, my experience at Le Cafe Vie5 was...
Read moreAn outstanding Vietnamese cafe to visit in Singapore. They offer authentic Vietnamese dishes with some of their special bowls and are serious about their coffee! What makes this cafe different is the owner himself, who has brought his hometown's specialty dishes to Singapore. Mr. Huan is originally from Hai Phong, a seaside town in the North of Vietnam, being famous for their spicy fish noodles, mini baguette with pate (French style liver paste), crab rolls and prawn noodles.
All of these dishes are difficult to find outside of Hai Phong and not normally sold in other cities of Vietnam (except crab rolls and mini baguette which gained popularity as street snacks), so it's very special that we get to try these dishes in Singapore, with all the authenticity and deliciousness.
This cafe also offers very good egg coffee and other interesting drinks such as coffee avocado smoothie. Their egg coffee can be different from the popular ones in some of Hanoi cafes. But again, egg coffee is quite a unique creation itself and normally each cafe tries to come up with their own recipe and method to make it without any real standards. Mr. Huan's egg coffee is very impressive with the nice egg foam on top which brings a pleasant flavour. The coffee itself can be smoother for my liking.
This cafe has so much to offer and it's definitely my favourite place to hang out, whether to meet up with a friend or to sit there and work the whole afternoon (with free wifi and sockets available, nice vibe with good music - and the volume can be adjusted upon request). Come and...
