A Cozy Corner and a Delightful Duo: My Visit to Le Cafe Vie5 Stepping into cafe felt like a welcome escape from the city bustle. The décor was rustic and warm creating a relaxed and inviting, chic and sophisticated, fun and energetic.

The Signature Latte arrived first, presented beautifully in a handle less cup. The latte was rich and robust, with a noticeable unique flavor notes The milk was perfectly steamed, creating a velvety smooth texture that coated my palate. It wasn't overly sweet, allowing the quality of the coffee to truly shine. This was a latte crafted with care and attention to detail, and it definitely lived up to its "signature" status.

Shortly after, the Waffle with vanilla graced my table. The waffle was a golden-brown masterpiece, boasting a delightful crisp exterior that gave way to a light and fluffy interior. It was generously dusted with powdered sugar, adding a touch of sweetness without being overwhelming. The scoop of vanilla ice cream perched atop was creamy and of good quality, melting slightly into the warm waffle and creating a delightful contrast in temperature and texture. The combination of the warm, slightly chewy waffle and the cool, smooth vanilla ice cream was simply classic and executed perfectly. The waffle itself had a lovely buttery flavor, and the vanilla ice cream wasn't overly artificial, allowing its natural sweetness to complement the waffle beautifully. It wasn't a complicated dish, but it was undeniably satisfying and a perfect accompaniment to the rich latte. The service at was also noteworthy. The staff were friendly always ready with a smile and ensuring I had everything I needed without being intrusive. Overall, my experience at Le Cafe Vie5 was...

An outstanding Vietnamese cafe to visit in Singapore. They offer authentic Vietnamese dishes with some of their special bowls and are serious about their coffee! What makes this cafe different is the owner himself, who has brought his hometown's specialty dishes to Singapore. Mr. Huan is originally from Hai Phong, a seaside town in the North of Vietnam, being famous for their spicy fish noodles, mini baguette with pate (French style liver paste), crab rolls and prawn noodles.

All of these dishes are difficult to find outside of Hai Phong and not normally sold in other cities of Vietnam (except crab rolls and mini baguette which gained popularity as street snacks), so it's very special that we get to try these dishes in Singapore, with all the authenticity and deliciousness.

This cafe also offers very good egg coffee and other interesting drinks such as coffee avocado smoothie. Their egg coffee can be different from the popular ones in some of Hanoi cafes. But again, egg coffee is quite a unique creation itself and normally each cafe tries to come up with their own recipe and method to make it without any real standards. Mr. Huan's egg coffee is very impressive with the nice egg foam on top which brings a pleasant flavour. The coffee itself can be smoother for my liking.

This cafe has so much to offer and it's definitely my favourite place to hang out, whether to meet up with a friend or to sit there and work the whole afternoon (with free wifi and sockets available, nice vibe with good music - and the volume can be adjusted upon request). Come and...

This was our first time visiting a northern Vietnamese cafe and never expected that it was such a hidden charms thats makes us enjoyed our meals so much!

The ambiance is great with music and the atmosphere is very comfortable, we were also amazed by their wide selection of food & beverages and their dessert display.

We took quite some time to decide what we want and got;

Drinks; 🍹Street Style Tea (TRÀ VỈA HÈ) - love this tea without any sugars, very refreshing. 🥤Chocolate Milk Shake - Chocolatey taste with milk

Main; 🍜 Grilled Pork Noodles. - The noodles is rice noodles, definitely must dip with their specialty sauce which makes a good combination of sour and spicy, their grilled pork is well seasoned. 🍲 Braised Pork Rice - this is new in menu and their pork is tender and flavourful, my girl enjoyed it!

Dessert; 🍰 Pistachios Cheese Cake - have been a fans of Pistachios and could not resist of this when i saw one on the display, luckily for this, not super sweet, matches with the cheese. 🧇 Mochi Waffles with Mango Passionfruit Sorbet - the waffles is freshly made and combination of sweet and sour ends the day.

If you are nearby or simple looking for Vietnamese cafe, this cafe is definitely worth a visit, we had such a wonderful...

9 Nov 2022: One of the best spring rolls I’ve had in my life no lie… unfortunately the rest of the dishes/drinks were subpar so i can’t give the full 5 stars. These include the prawn noodles & the egg coffee. The standard of egg coffee- im basing on one of the best I’ve tried in Vietnam (so I guess that’s not very fair) but I mainly came here to search for an egg coffee that’s as gao and tasty AND available in SG. So my search continues. Nice discovery of the amazing spring rolls though. 12 Jan 2023: Tried their Bun Cha and it was SO GOOD. I have a feeling anything fresh/cold/ dipped in their signature sauce will be great. Also got a Vietnamese coffee with ice. I let it drip for 10min before it stopped and poured it in the ice. Coffee wasn’t as strong as usual Vietnamese coffee. 1 Feb 2023: Tried their Pâté Banh Mi. It is much smaller than traditional Banh Mis but it was packed full of pâté & so good. I added some chilli sauce and it had just the right amount of kick. Also got their iced brown drip coffee, i preferred it to full black. 22 Feb 2023: The Grilled Pork Bahn Mi was very nice! The pork was tender, baguette was very crispy & fluffy :-) enjoyed it, but prefer the pate baguette.
