Tucked inside Marsiling Community Club, My Kitchen My Lab is a small but charming café with only four tables—so expect a short wait during peak lunch hours. I’ve visited multiple times with colleagues, and it’s become a regular lunch spot for us. The menu offers familiar local staples like Nasi Lemak and Mee Rebus, but the real draw is their daily specials, which change every day. We usually go for the special menu, paired with traditional appetizers like ondeh-ondeh, freshly prepared by the friendly aunties. I’ve tried the Nasi Goreng Ayam and Asam Pedas on separate visits: Nasi Goreng Ayam: The rice was firm and flavorful, with each grain distinct. The fried chicken was tender and tasty, and their chili sauce added a spicy kick that elevated the whole dish. Asam Pedas: Served in a claypot to keep it warm—nice touch. It came with generous portions of stingray and lady’s fingers in a rich, tangy sauce that paired beautifully with rice. The meal also included assorted vegetables, a fried egg, and a solid sambal belacan. Bonus points: they accept CDC vouchers. The aunties are always warm and welcoming, making each visit feel personal.

Been here for a few times, Their special menu changes everyday, today I go for Nasi Ayam. Everything was nice. Previously ordered their Nasi Lemak for 2 time just to ensure the consistency of the sambal deliciousness, got to admit their sambal is just superb. The portion is just normal for the price. Nice place to enjoy your food, quiet and nice environment surrounded with classics theme I believed. Overall, I was satisfied.

Amazing little kitchen in a community centre. Admiralty Road in Marsiling Community Club. Delightful staff who are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and it was my first time trying Mee Rebus. I will be back for me. If you are in this area you must drop in for some amazing food and hospitality.

A homely environment beautifuly decorated, thou the place is small it is filled with love in food preparation and service. Believe their customers are the regular ones. Really, affordably priced! I chanced upon this place on google and called them to check up as I was getting there with 8 of us and there was not much review about them nor their menu. My call was entertained by Kak Zara, she pariently answered my queries and shared their cafe was a small place and such there was no reservations. It goes by first come first serve basis. My team decided to venture..... and we were so touched that they decided to open another bigger table for us to accommodate our crowd as they already had customers dining in. Once, we settled we ordered and ordered and ordered.... hahahaha. The food was spectacular! And the traditional malay kuehs were so authentic!!!! My team and I were really so filled in tummy and heart. By the way, they also do catering! Kudos to the ladies behind My Kitchen My Lab! (Kak Zara, Kak Sara, sorryyy forgot 1 more Kak name and the makcik- awesome team). Will definately get there again! Must still try their...
