Shi Li Fang Hot Pot Habourfront Centre — Restaurant in Singapore

Came 13 April at dinner time, we seating at the queue area and waiting for our turn. However, I realized the Chinese lady manger (no.10 ) let other customers which came later than us to go in first, not only one time but 3 times. Okay nvm, I still got my seat at the end, in a corner which hardly for me to go out, but is okay… area can’t choose and is peak period. So understand.

Then, interesting thing comes hor. For my understanding “order any 2 @ full portion (5.5), half portion is ( 2 sth, can’t rmb the exact price)” means I can choose any 2 items inside the column and the price is either 5.5 or 2sth. So we choose 2 items from there. But she (the manager) said, if choose 1 full portion is 5.5 and 2 full portions are $11. We only know during payment. So, I think if she’s right, then the menu is misleading. Hope shilifang will take this into consideration and make the menu more clear.

Futhermore, she key in wrong order and insist that’s my order, walao! If I have taken photo of my order, things should be easier to solve. Hope shilifang comes out with proper order procedure and keep customer’s order record like other restaurants, e.g Ding Tai Fung.

Overall food is standard to all shilifang, I went other places which the service is much better. If I saw her again, I will not come back to...

If possible I would like to give negative stars. Walk in at 8:56pm was told to finish my meal at 10pm. I said ok, not a problem.

Manager at the restaurant refuse to let me eat! Harassed me over 5 times to pay as they are closing soon. It’s 9:30pm just 30 mins in!

I had to STOP eating, walk to the counter and pay. Of which I was informed that their paywave machine is faulty. So I had to walk back, look for my credit card in my bag.

My bag was super messy and I don’t know if I have a card with me. I don’t wish to touch cash as I am still eating!!! So I told them I would like to finish my food first.

So I went back to sit and continue eating my meal. In the next 5 mins. 2 staffs keeps coming up to me to ask me to pay!

The manager even took my bag to ask me to look for my wallet. It’s 9:40pm at this point.

I am force to STOP eating, look for money and pay. At this point I told them I’m not eating anymore. Paid and left without being able to finish my meal.

She said I had to leave at 10. Which I was going to finish my meal before that. Does she have to keep harassing me more than 10 time and STOP me from eating just so I can pay?

This Will be my first time and will be my last time go dine in here. Recommend to eat other steamboat because even 50% off the price equal to original price. Total dine in sgd100++ for 2 pax. Not worth for it. It is similar as what can find and spend in hai di lao. The big different in the environment, food quality and services. Of course I will not come again. 8pm go in and eat, they ask me to wait for them to cook tomato soup. 8.20pm all soup and item came. We non stop cook and eat, 9.15pm we are having the last bowl of noodles and they request us to go eat ice cream because the machine takes time to off the machine 🤣 actually it is so ridiculous. How I immediately go eat ice cream? What you all expect me to do? I need cook and eat! It is hotpot! Are you training me to eat faster in a hotpot restaurant? If you all need 1 hour to close shop, then stop invite us to go in and eat. Stop allowing customer go in after 7:45pm. I’m so stress eating there. Food not fresh, soup tasteless. Please...
