Kráľovský dvor — Restaurant in Bratislava

My first experience was rather upsetting. As I was walking in, the waiter taking care of certain table just stare at me, instead of saying hello. I have sit myself at a table which was clear of the dishes but it was dirty (oil stains, bread crumbs...). And there I was, waiting and waiting. When I finally got the menu, the guests just next to me (who can after me) were already enjoying their beers for good 4 minutes. I really haven't understood why people who came after me were drinking beer while I was sitting at the dirty table with no welcome and no menu cart. I ordered Coca-Cola, toast and beef burger. The cola came with ice and lemon as ordered but it was warm. The burger was dreadful. The fries were really old, they seem like made hours ago and then slightly re-fried - just tasted old. The bun tasted like it was unfrozen on the grill for a short while. It was extremely dry, tasteless and disappointing. On the other hand, the remaining ingredients were nicely combined, it's a pity that the burger ended up like it did. When I was walking to the restrooms, the waiter that did not say hello was sitting at the table with a phone in the hand. The restrooms were clean but there was no soap. As a remark, "if you are missing paper towels, just tell the staff" - stated written on the wall. I find it a bit ridiculous, I feel like there should be someone to check it. Overall, I had bad experience, I personally would not recommend to visit. Given that I was recommended to visit this restaurant by a few people I was truly and...

I went to Kralovsky Dvor during a busy lunch hour on a weekday, and it was a great experience. The restaurant has its own parking lot, and we found a spot easily. Even though the place was crowded, we got a table for five without waiting, and our food came pretty quickly, even the meals that weren’t on the daily menu.

I had the Roasted beef leg in red wine, and it was delicious—tender and full of flavor. The chicken broth was really good too, with a nice amount of chicken, which you don’t always get in other places. Presentation could be a bit better.

The waitress was friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu. Overall, 5/5 for the food and service. Definitely...

Po oslave mojich okrúhlych narodenín som si povedal, že nikdy viac. Keď sme zajednávali miestnosť, jedlo, prestieranie, atď. nič nebol problém. Dopadlo to všetko zle, zle, zle. A to sa ešte brzdím a šetrím ostrými slovami. V knihe mali napísané, že prídeme na 13:00, ale oni len 13:00 začali s prípravou, prinesené balóny a čísla 50 začali fúkať a vešať po stenách pred nami, jedlo to bola tiež pekná storka, som sa doslova hanbil, nealkoholické šampanské bolo detské šampanské, porcie ako pre malé deti, niektoré porcie studené a polievka soľný vývar. Nebudem hovoriť, že sme tam z neviem akého dôvodu išli, zablúdili ešte pred týždňom osláviť MDD dobrým obedom, poviem tak, vypili sme vodu, kofolu a odišli. Polievku sme si nevedeli objednať ani ani po 25 minútach čakania, takže druhého chodu by sme sa len tak nedočkali... iná voľba ako odísť neexistovala, vonku pri odchode sme boli svedkami toho, ako sa ospravedlňovali čašník a prevádzkar manželskému páru s dvoma deťmi, že prepáčte, že meškáme vyše hodiny s jedlom, ale je nás málo... Treba ešte nejaký koment? Vždy som si myslel, že to bude reštaurácia na úrovni, ale bez urážky, je to pod úroveň, radšej bagetu z Tesca. Možno vedia načapovať pivo, ale to je tak všetko. Aj keby som už nemal kam a zomieral hladom, sem ma už nedostane nikto, opakujem nikto a nikdy! Zopsulo sa to teda riadne. Majiteľ a spol. by sa mali zobudiť, alebo prevádzku zatvoriť a predať niekomu, kto to vie robiť. DES-DES-DES!!! Podnik s takymto potencialom okolia..... tzv. slovenské podnikanie. Ak nechcete zažiť ostudu a hanbu, tak na 100 honov sa vyhnite podniku s názvom Kráľovský dvor, radšej spravte pár km a majte gastro zážitok na úrovni. Za mňa Kráľovský dvor jedno obrovské veľké sklamanie a nech si sem napíše kto chce, čo chce, moja skúsenosť hovorí za všetko. Ak by niekto pochyboval, pozývam najmä cez víkend na nevšedný zážitok do Kráľovského dvora. Fakt...
