Reštaurácia Kern — Restaurant in Bratislava

I'd heard so much about this restaurant. When I finally entered it, I felt very comfortable. The draft beer was served very nicely but during our visit, the barmaid trained other staff (waiters) how to make a nice beer. We therefore didn't enjoy every beer there. The burger is served with nice fries but no sauce - we didn't get it. The service was okay but one of the waitresses (probably Ukrainian) behaved very unprofessionally - I get she might not understand everything but she didn't bring what we ordered and didn't even apologize. When I said that we can take this order as well if it's to be a problem for her, she said "Take it!" and left. She also came to take the last order 20 minutes before they were to close, we said that we'd like to have another round but we'll not make it within the given time. She said "No worries, you can still order and finish your beer." Even before 11 PM, the stuff started cleaning the premises and we felt really uncomfortable there. It was around 11.05 PM and we were explicitly asked to leave because we should've already been gone. Of course, the beers weren't finished and we left home with very mixed and unpleasant feelings. We've seen this place from the tram and wanted to try it as it looked appealing from the outside. The interior has a nice, warm and cozy atmosphere without feeling suffocating. Shortly after we arrived, we were greeted by a kind server who returned in a good time to take our order. My pumpkin risotto was nicely creamy, with a distinct flavor of the pumpkin and the pumpkin seeds. The portion was very adequate - not too small, not too big. The bathroom was very clean. Dobrý deň, Tento podnik navštevujeme pravidelne, pretože to v rámci našej lokality máme najblizsie. Radi by sme zdôraznili, že prostredie je naozaj veľmi prijemne, štýl dokonalý, vždy sa tu cítime dobre. Aspoň z tohto hľadiska.. dlho sme rozmýšľali či sem mame dávať recenziu, ale ako inak zlepšiť služby bez feedbacku. Obsluha je tu na pár výnimiek (asi 2 - chalan ktorý bol s vami kamarát ale vždy slušný a pani, ktorá naozaj vie ako komunikovať a čo ponúknuť- tú sme bohužiaľ dlho nestretli…) veľmi zlá. Čašníci si vás vôbec nevšímajú, slečna za barom vytvára stále nejakú výmenu názorov a hada sa s ostatnými čašníkmi, ak si už aj niečo na pitie objednáte tak na vás vlastne aj zabudnú… je to veľká škoda. Obsluhu by sme v globále naozaj nehodnotili dobre. Čo sa týka kuchyne, tak jedlo je občas fajn, občas nie. Ak si objednávame v rámci jedného týždňa to iste, tak aj tak to jedlo chuti vždy inak. Pani za kuchyňou je zjavne vedúca, pretože to tam nie úplne prijemne organizuje, hundre na mladších kolegov a tiež to nepôsobí profesionálne. Čašníčka účtuje a robí s kašou, chytá peniaze a potom ide nakrajat rukami chleba, ktorý vám donesie… V piatok sme si boli sadnúť znova s priateľmi a na to aby za nami niekto čo i len prišiel prešlo 20 minút… podotýkam, že stoly boli plne na 10% a to som možno prehnala. Je to naozaj krásne miesto na to, aby ľudia kvôli obsluhe nechodili do tejto reštaurácie. Veríme, že sa s týmito vecami dá niečo spraviť a toto miesto bude naozaj výnimočne a ľudia sa v ňom globále budú...
