U Zlatého vodníka — Restaurant in Bratislava

I come to this restaurant for years now and always had a really good big meal. My favorite food here are the snails in this really yummy garlicy sauce which is really good however for some reason today the recipe was slightly odd. We finished our meal as it was still better than in France anyway lol however to my surprise the manager came out to check on how everything was. I asked him if they changed the chef or recipe and he apologized that the food was a little off. Honestly I would have paid the whole thing as it was still decent but he offered to take care of our whole bill, the drinks included. Amazing! Thank you for the really good service and I am definitely a faithful customer as always. Wishing this business all the success possible as they definitely deserve it being one of my fav places...

We visited this place before and ordered duck. It was rotten, gross. The whole meal was extremly bad. Since I felt hungry and wanted go step by at some place, we decided to give this place another chance. My dad ordered a pork knee, my mom had grilled vegetables with fries and I had stuffed pepper with cooked potatoes. I also asked for chicken soup but the waitress brought me a beef soup, so we I returned it. The knee, based on my dad's opinion was worth 3 stars. The vegetables with fries were woth maximum 2.5 stars. Nothing special and could be better. Stuffed paprika, was like 2. I felt very heavy and sick afterwards. Golimy the diner for the truckers with tasteless interior (except aquarium), with a vile staff, razvodyashhim you on money on a huge the portions and dissatisfied with the calculation of the credit card due to the lack tip. And it all in forty degree heat or on the street on zaterty`h wooden tables and the benches, or in stuffy the room without conditioning. Sucks.
