Penzión MartINN — Restaurant in Martin

During my visit in September 2015 this place is called MartInn, so I do not know about the name but address seems to be same as this. The limitation with this place is that the reception is not 24 hours and if you arrive after 10pm or leave before 7am you have to make special arrangements, which by the way is no problem. Staff is friendly and helpful and rooms seems to be recently refurbished. My room had a bit odd shape like an L with two single beds in different directions. Room was clean. During hot season I assume the rooms might get hot as there is no air-condition or fan in the room. My husband and I were travelling with our 13 year old daughter. We had the room on the top floor which had ample room and a nice decor. The location was perfect to walk around the centre of town and also close to the buses and train station. However the best factor was the restaurant. The meal was probably one of the best we had on our holiday. It was our daughter's 13th Birthday and my husband mentioned this to the staff in the afternoon and for dinner our table was set with pink serviettes and the staff made such a fuss of her! Penzion Martin is a small hotel located in a central Martin (Slovakia) almost within the pedestrian area. The rooms are very nice and spacious, with modern furnitures. They are cleaned every day. There is a TV and a fridge in every room. The stuff is really friendly, some of them speaking good English. There's a restaurant in the hotel where breakfasts are served. It's a'la carte restaurant and honestly breakfasts are the weakest point of the hotel. The rest of menu is really great for reasonable money.
