Today I have finally got into this restaurant after a loong long time. I must say it was a very nice place. We had classic tomato soup and spicy soup with shrimps and as a second dish lasagna bolognese and salad with salmon. It was a first time I have eaten lasagna which tasted like in Italia and it had crunchy corner ❤️.Salmon was prepared ok - it was not dry. If it was prepared a bit longer it would be dry. Classic tomato soup was really good. Only remark which is acceptable for this region and infrastructure in eastern slovakia overall, was frozen shrimp especially the one in shell. I know they have fresh shelfish mussels and lobsters. Even though the shrimp was clean and with pre-cut shell of tail. Really nice nice move which I appreciate. Just next door is Rosso pastry and icecream shop. We had an eclair filled with chocolate - orange cremeux. Nice and balanced flavour of orange and well chosen chocolate made this dessert a real pleasure. Second we had a tiramisu, which was nice as well. Our daughter had an ice cream from dragon fruit obviously because it was the most purplish ice cream :) taste was nice flavour and sugar were in balance. Read moreA very good Italian restaurant in the heart of Michalovce. I like the idea of dividing the pizzeria room from a more intimate restaurant area. However this division also means that the waiters don't check so often if the guests need something. There is a camera but I'm not sure it's used to supervise the room. We ordered focaccia as a starter and paccheri with lobster. The focaccia didn't arrive until after the pasta and just because we reminded about it. The lobster was very good and paccheri "Al dente". It would be great to have the appropriate tools to clean the lobster and remove the meat from the shell. Fork and knife are not enough. Tiramisu, espresso and cheese cake were also very good but I needed to go to the pizzeria room to order them as nobody came at the table for over 15 minutes since we finished the main courses. Po prvych par navstevach po otvoreni Rossa sme boli spokojni, avšak len s pizzou. Čo sa tyka pizze, je dobra, ale stale nie za tu cenu. Ocenujem talianske a kvalitne suroviny, ale niesme v Basilico Bratislava co sa tyka cien a kvality. A ak uz sa chcete pohybovat v takych cenovych relaciach, odporucam zapracovat na jedle , alebo neponukat nic ine okrem pizze.
Prisli sme do podniku, objednali sme si 3x krevety a kalamare, k tomu kazdy zemiaky a grilovanu zeleninu. Kalamare sa nedali jest, suche, ako zuvacia guma a nedochutene. Dochutene vlastne nebolo nic a tych 8 zemiackov bolo riadne presolenych (asi na vyrovananie chuti) . Krevety tak isto, nedochutene, jednoducho onicom. Co sa tyka grilovanej zeleniny, tak ta okolo grilu len tak narychlo prebehla. Priniesli nam ju neochutenu a surovu. 3 tenke planky cukety, 2 baklazanu, 2male cherry paradajky a 1 kruzok cibule. Damy a pani, priloha za 5€ v Michalovciach. Krevety a kalamare polozene na nejakej lacnej cinskej kapuste. Tomuto hovorite gastro? Takto sa prezentuje dobry podnik? Pochybujem…Jednoducho hroza. Toto cele nas vyslo nieco okolo 110€. Cele zle a smiesne. Nemam problem zaplatit za dobre jedlo, ale toto sa fakt nedalo jest a z podniku sme odchadzali nenajedení a sklamaní. Aby si niekto nemyslel, ze hejtujem cenu, ja nemam problem zaplatit za dobre jedlo aj vacsie sumy, skusal som jedla kade tade po svete, ale zaplatit viac nez 100€ v Michalovciach za 3 jedla a napoje, a odchadzat sklamaní a nenajedení je hanba.
Mali sme tak isto aj skusenost s cestovinami, napr take Carbonara-suche, nedochutene, a s Carbonara to nemalo ani nic spolocne. A s dalsimi jedlami, ktore som tu skusil, sa nebudem ani zaoberat, lebo by som tu pisal roman.
Obsluha fakt velmi zla. Odporucam casnicky vyskolit, a nezaskodil by ani prijemny pristup a mozno usmev. Nemam chut a urcite ani nikto dalsi pozerat na ofučaný personal.
Bol som velmi stastny, ze nieco take ako Rosso zavitalo do Michaloviec, a ze to bude niekto, kto pozdvihne gastro v tomto meste. Stalo sa, ale na prvych “5minut” a ubera sa to dole vodou ako vacsina podnikov v tomto regione. Som velmi sklamany, ze musim pisat takuto recenziu na este len cerstvo otvoreny podnik, ktory sa tvari “na urovni”, ale bohuzial okrem vybavenia nie je. Na terase chyba talianska hudba a celkovy zazitok z obedu/vecere rusi hluk z klimatizacie.
Dufam, ze tato recenzia dopomoze k zamysleniu majitela podniku a ze odstrani chyby, ktore klientele vadia. Robit pekne story na instagram s talianskou hudbou jednoducho nestaci. Ak by sa tieto nedostatky zmenili , rad by som sa este do tejto restauracie vratil. Avsak, teraz...
