U Páva — Restaurant in Piešťany

We have visited Piestany three times this year for dental treatment. This is our favourite restaurant Pizzas are amazing, as are the pizza sticks, and pasta dishes. Very reasonably priced. The Pilsner Urquell is now my favourite although this is sold in almost every establishment in the town. We have eaten here at both busy and quiet periods and found the waiter and waitress very friendly and attentive. Rude customers get what they deserve in my book. I try and impress with my limited Slovakian which amuses the waitress who speaks excellent English in return. Pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by. Recommended and returning...

We weren't lucky to enjoy the service. The waitress was rude and tactless. They have ugly old broken plates and they have no paper in the WC. And we expected the music we heard two years ago at this cafe but in vain.. Legendary faces outside on the walls while ordinary music inside.. I dont recommend this place at all. Walked in, greeted the server and asked whether they had pagace or something small and salty to eat. He was extremely rude and said they had peanuts and pistachios. If he was my employee, id have him out in a second. I recommend he learns how to treat a customer. His manners, and tone were awful.
