Villa Trajan — Hotel in Piešťany

Well-located, old school rooms. The comfort room' is spacious, and well equipped. There was some confusion about the room size, but the reception and the hotel staff handled it adequately. The breakfast, check-in and other meals are a 7-10 minute walk from the Hotel, which might be a hassle for some, but that's something the Hotel has already mentioned in the listing so no fault of their own. Breakfast is fine, nothing special but not at all poor. What makes this place excellent is the staff. The ladies at the breakfast are super nice and kind. The reception also has some incredible people that understand and look to help you, no matter whether or not they can. No air conditioning, but again, the listing does not promise that so can't blame them. I did realise this only after I checked in, but it was my fault! The dinner menu is not always vegetarian friendly, but the staff was able to accommodate existing meals and find a way to serve me the vegetarian modification...

Villa Berlin is part of a well-organised group of hotels in the Spa town of Piestany. It is less expensive than those on the spa island itself yet is the closest of those on the mainland (just at the start of the short access bridge). It is actually linked to the Hotel Jalta 300 metres or so away which is where you need to go first to register and have your evening meals ( breakfast is at the Villa Berlin). There is a most reasonable half-board plan which includes two spa treatments daily. The evening meal was adequate but not that great and service in the dining room was a little slow but most pleasant. Room was clean, daily houskeeping, english speaker at check in desk, ( check in is at hotel jalta as is breakfast). Hotel is very close to spa island. There are several good places to eat and small stores in walking distance.The area is very safe day or night. Rooms are non smoking and there is a nice area outside people smoke at.I stayed here 27,06,17- 02,07,17. I expect to stay there summer of 2018.
