Gostilna Rupa, Suzana Pangerc Kosar s.p. — Restaurant in Bohinj

We stopped by here for lunch while we were in Slovenia, heading towards lake Bohinj from lake Bled, because we wanted to try some authentic Slovenian food. There were ten of us at the table and despite the small language barrier (because we are from Montenegro) the server knew the language well enough for us to understand each other. Since we had four small children with us, the small playground next to the terrace was perfect, they weren't bugging us the whole time like they usually would. The view is breathtaking by the way, and it's very peaceful. The food was good, I tried štruklji with cottage cheese and mushroom sauce on top and liked it very much (I'll put a picture of it). The only complaint we (my father actually) had was too much vegetables and too little meat in the beef soup, but that's just a personal preference of his. I ate the soup instead of him, no complaints at all. My mother tried their gulaš (with beef too I'm pretty sure), very nice as well. I definitely recommend...

That was the worst restaurant in my life. I can't even call this place as a restaurant because it does not deserve this name. We ordered mushroom soups which were really overpriced. It was disgusting, I'm not usually using this word for describing things and food, but it was really not good, especially for this high prise... Then we ordered a salade with beans. They were rancid. We couldn't even eat it and we didn't pay for it cuz the stuff agreed with us that it was rancid. Can't forget bout drinks which were sooo overpriced. After this restaurant me daughter got sick and she had really bad stomach problems - she ate mushroom soup. So I really don't recommend this place. I went to that restaurant many times in the last years and it was very nice, but unfortunately the two last visits were very disappointing.On Thursday we took the roasted pig, and it was according expectations quality and size of portions were satifying.Nevertheless thé service was extremely slow, almost two hours for something that requête normaly half an hour.We skipped the desert to limite our pain. Today was even worst.
