Cafe Gallery Pungert — Restaurant in Kranj

This one is for the rude waitress who was working yesterday morning/(early) afternoon. Place was totally empty, yet, she was totally rude. We grabbed a table outside and were figuring out who was going to go inside to order as we had 4 kids with us that all wanted different things. We put our stuff on the table and opened snacks that we had with us from the farmers market down the block. A couple of minutes later, the waitress storms over and from about 5 feet away, she yells in Slovenian “can I have my table back”. I was a bit thrown back but said - “I am sorry, you want your table back. Ok”. She stood there, and continued to talk about how the table we were standing at was out of place and that we need to move it back. Meanwhile, we did NOT move the table! My friend kindly asked “can we order something?” While my friend got a coffee, I refused to contribute to the establishment after the interaction with the woman who was working there. We stood outside and waited for our friend to finish his coffee before leaving the high tables and getting hot coco and drinks down the block.

I used to dislike people who left negative reviews for restaurant staff, because I know people have bad days… but...

We arrived late after a delayed flight and couldn’t believe we found this little gem of a bar still open at 11.45pm on a Sunday night! With beautiful fairy lights and a lovely location by the church it literally felt like a mirage. Sonja the bar lady was so welcoming with lots of tips of things to do in Kranj and gave us our first Slovenian beer - Delicious. We went back the following evening and wish we could go again.
