Gril Ranca — Restaurant in Maribor

I ate pleskavica sa kajmakom here before and it was amazing.

Yesterday i was at Gril Ranca , Mercator Center and i have ordered Sudžukice u lepinji and Šopska salata. It was dry and sausages were rubbery to that point that i have lost my appetite. I have complained to the waitress, who was nice. I told her i wouldnt charge something this distasteful to my customers and suggested that chef tries it and let them decide it they will charge it or not. She came back with a bill without sausages on.

Left the tip and went on my way.

Later i came back with friends at the same restaurant for a beer ( no food!) and a stuck up waiter said that the boss told him not to serve us because apperently i did not pay the whole bill. I went in and asked where is the boss so Id suggest him to keep his food fresh in order for customers to not complain.

So chef started to bark at me with his broken ego on how i refused to pay the bill.

Grozno osebje, na cetrtkovo lepo ze skoraj popoldan, je gospodicna natakarica 15min ignorirala goste in samo raztresceno skakala okoli, ter drugim gostom dobesedno “fuknila” kroznile z lepinjo, iz drugega kafica so se sprasevali, kdaj bo postregla mene in brata, na kar pride po se 5 min in rece “ nisem se uspela narediti kavarniskega dela “ sma ji odgovorila eh ni problema, vzamite si cas, potem je spet 10min ni bilo in na koncu ni sploh prisla pobrat do mize narocilo, vendar je le arogantno rekla prosim? Vzela narocilo -macchiato in kava z mlekom, potem pa odvihrala odreno pred drugiki gosti spet z “ pa sem ze rekla da se ni kavarniskega dela” halo, to se v takem poklicu lahko lepo rece, v obraz in bi razumeli, ne pa to. Natakarica vidno razburjena in slabe volje - med 30-50 let in oblecena...

Same recipe since I was a child. Very tasty aromatic meat with great bread. Best Lepinja in Maribor. I suggest you try it out. It is like the taste of Balkan. Also, try a Lasko beer with it. That's the way it's...
