After 3 days of eating cevapis and the like we fancied something different, researched where to find a well-rated restaurant that served seafood dishes (in addition to meat), and the Kolarjev Zaliv popped up - sure, Maps suggested it'd take us 30 mins by foot from the centre, but a quick look at its surroundings, by the river and surrounded by greenery, persuaded us to head on over! (If possible, walk on the river path, not by the main road - it's a far more pleasant experience!)
We were delighted with our choice; the food was AMAZING, the service was wonderful (the lovely girls were extremely pleasant, and could speak good English), the prices were reasonable, and the location made us feel as if we were in the countryside and not on the outskirts of the city. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. only downside: toilets are only available during the restaurant’s...
Read moreThe place itself is great - right by the river, calm, with beautiful view of the river. Service, however, is not good. We waited for a full hour for our order to arrive, and we were ready to just cancel and leave. My guess is that it's a family business - laid back, no uniforms on the staff...but still, family business or not - there is no professional service. Food is good: portions are big and well served, but still bit overpriced. Cheese dumplings were the absolute star of the order - delicious! I wish the overall...
