Hotel City Map — Hotel in Maribor

Before the arrival: They were communicative and helpful. They answered to my questions and send all informations what're required to receive the magnet card and room in time on the arrival date.

Arrival: It was easy to find the Hotel, gps navigate to the place. We asked parking place during our stay, but it is not necessary, because huge parking possibilities inside the hotel's fenced area. Hotel is not far from city center by walk, it's just 10-15 minutes (it depends on you)

The owner greeted us near the reception, she was very kind and helpful. She said, if we need anything just let her know. She provided us with all necessary information about the city, the downtown, spectacular places and showed everything on a map (what we received). She also shared the weather for the next few days with us. She was fully prepared for everything what we asked.

The room: The corridor was modern and nice, the edge of door shined with LED if somebody inside the room. The door opened with a magnet card. The room was beautiful with clean design, Maribor city's map was on the wall and it was really nice. Above the bed was a big photo from Maribor's famous place (in our rooms it was a restaurant of winery). The bed was big and enough for two people (unfortunately the mattress was soft for us - it's always depends on you, what you preferred, but we prefer the harder). The bathroom was clean and really nice with light of LED and with a well-designed sink. The size of the shower was enough big for two people with big and small showerhead also. The size of the toilet was a bit small and strange at first because it came from the wall but wasn't but undersupport from the toilet, secondly was ok after we know it's enough stabile :) Automatic shutters was on the window and the view was nice to city. Table was enough big in front of the bed and we used our laptop here. We had a small refrigerator under the bed, we used it and was enough big. Wi-fi connection was perfect in the room, didn't have any problems during Netflix watching in our laptop or videoconference with family.

Breakfast: Breakfast place was not so big, but comfortable for 6-8 people. There was a large selection of cheeses and salamis, local cold foodtypes. We liked the small jams too with cakes. Before our arrival we asked plant based milk for breakfast (because of my wife's allergy for milk) and they didn't forget it, it was on the table. Coffee was good quality. Appledrink was really good too.

Check-out: It was not problem that we paid by credit card. We collect magnet from everywhere and we get one about the Hotel too. We received a bottle of wine from the owner, but because of we don't drink alcohol, she gave us a chocolate. It was cute kindness gesture.

Price and overall: Price is in the middle category in Maribor, but definitely worth pay for this Hotel, because of the owner's kind, helpful and the modern styled hotel with parking place and good location from the city center.

It's sure we choose the Hotel again, when we go Maribor....

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving by rental car at 1 PM. The owner copied our passports/vaccinations and escorted us upstairs to see the breakfast room, then to room #14 - spacious with 2 twins put together, a desk with small refrigerator, hot pot, nice wall TV with guide(BBC/CNN/CNBC/SKY in English), an opening window (garden view + exterior shutter) and a fully outfitted bathroom with a nice shower.||The 7:30 AM breakfast buffet was serviced and complete with juice, fruit, cereals, meats/cheeses, waffles, breads, yogurt with coffee/tea.||This new 17 room environmentally designed hotel is located southwest of the city with the new Icona Center-supermarket 1 km southeast. We found Maribor’s center congested and decided to walk from this hotel via the 2008 Studenci Footbridge which is 1+ km east, later discovering the free parking near its south side access. ||Our room was comfortable, very quiet with good secure WIFI and made a good stay with free parking and...

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the CITYMAP Hotel in Maribor. I cannot express how delighted I am with my experience there.

First and foremost, I must highlight the exceptional hospitality provided by the owner. She went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her warmth and attentiveness made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is a gem. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The entire staff mainly mrs Karin at CITYMAP Hotel was friendly and accommodating, making my visit to Maribor a memorable one. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I can't wait to return to Maribor and stay at CITYMAP Hotel again. Thank you for making my trip...
