Unassuming place by its looks, but the chef delivers! I’m quite picky when it comes to Asian food, but this was really pretty impressive. We specifically liked his version of General Tao chicken. The crispy lemon chicken was also superb. The plate was emptied by my kids in minutes. In addition to authentic Chinese food, they also do more than decent sushi. But go here for the Chinese dishes. They’ll put a smile on your face.

If I have to name one thing to improve then it’d be the espresso. But then again, hey it’s a Chinese restaurant, not a funky espresso-bar.

We were in that part of the eurotrip when you're just craving asian food and some rice, and this place hit the spot. We found it on our way from Zagreb to Ljubljana and it was a pleasant surprise. The mongolian beef was amazing and the chinese dumplings tasted delicious and homemade. They had an amazing chilli oil and that's when we knew the place was legit.

It's a family business and they were all very kind and attentive. We had a great lunch!

Als Vorspeise hatten wir Maki-Röllchen mit Lachs, scharf-saure Suppe und eine große Frühlingsrolle. Alles schmeckte sehr gut (der eingelegte Ingwer zu den Maki-Röllchen war himmlisch!), lediglich die Konsistenz der Suppe war ungewohnt dickflüssig, was aber dem Geschmack keinen Abbruch tat. Auch die Hauptgerichte trafen genau unseren Geschmack. Ob Huhn süß-sauer, General Tsos Hühnchen, Huhn nach Sechuan Art mit einee großen Portion gebratenem Eierreis oder Zitronenhuhn. Die separat servierte Sauce zu letzterem war besonders köstlich, nicht zu stark zitronig, nicht sauer, eher mild, aber hervorragend harmonierend zum gebackenen Hühnerfleisch. Auch das gebackene Obst mit Honig zum Nachtisch schmeckte sehr gut.

Bezahlt haben wir für die Mittagessen mit Vor- und Nachspeise bzw. Salat jeweils günstige 6 EUR bei wirklich sättigenden Portionen. Das Zitronenhuhn gibt es nicht auf der Mittagskarte. Die 9,50 EUR dafür sind aber vollkommen angemessen.

Hinterher gab es vom Haus spendiert Pflaumenwein für die Großen, Glückskekse für die Kleinen und Krupuk als Mitgebsel. Die Krabbenchips waren super-lecker (so gute habe ich noch nirgends gegessen!), und das nächste Mal werden davon mehr bestellt!

Ja, ein nächstes Mal wird es garantiert geben, wenn wir wieder einmal in Novo mesto sind! Absolut empfehlenswert und vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar!
