Disaster! OK FOOD, SERVICE 🚩 I came here to eat student food. Having previously checked the opening hours on Prehrana, a service for students. We ordered our food - we ate and we go to pay.

And then the madness begins. The waiter doesn't have a student food terminal working. (It probably could have been blocked due to time, but the waiter wouldn't use the terminal beforehand like they do at all the places) He started saying it was our fault and definitely not his, it was overly aggressive. Then he started discussing us with the cook (lol, I know Slovenian). It was exceptionally rude. We ended up paying the price we had planned, but the whole time the waiter was exceptionally aggressive and kept saying it was all our fault.

Also, i have another example is the Primavera pizza - there even if my phone is dead they can tell me to just come and pay later. I come there all the time because it's an example of how the staff should work

It was a 6 euro overpayment for the cafe - if they had forgotten about it, they would have gotten a loyal customer. Accepting this error in service is literally the only legal way for them to go. I will never go back there.

It is a bit out of the area visited by tourists. However, the Etno Eden (traditional Slovenian) restaurant is definitely worth a visit. (It's easy to get there by car or by bike, but don't follow the Google Maps. Go on main or bigger roads. Faster and easier.) The atmosphere, music and furniture are local. There is cozy terasse. The view is pretty. The waiter is a professional. And the food portions are huge. (Caution: a two persons portion is enough for 3 adults as well) And the flavors? They are awesome! Real Slovenian (South Slavic) food. Mainly meat (men’s dream), but there are also salads, desserts, soups, beans, cabbage, cheese, cold foods and soft drinks, beers, wines or coffees. The prices are definetely friendly. Worth to try! (There is only one small issue: they have just slovenian menu card - no English, no German, no other languages. Posebej izstopajo hišne specialitete, ki odražajo pristnost in domiselnost kuhinje. Sladice so vredne posebne omembe – okusne, sveže in ravno prav sladke. Postrežba: Strežno osebje je profesionalno, prijazno in pozorno, ne da bi bilo vsiljivo. Na naročeno hrano se ne čaka predolgo, ob večji gneči pa vseeno poskrbijo, da gost dobi občutek, da je pomemben. Prav tako so natakarji pripravljeni svetovati pri izbiri jedi in vina. Razmerje med ceno in kvaliteto: Cene so primerne glede na kakovost hrane, velikost porcij in splošno izkušnjo. Ni najcenejša izbira, a glede na celotno ponudbo in nivo storitve je vredno.
