Cacao BTC — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

The most expensive croissant in Ljubljana at 4,30 euros and probably one of the worst as well. The pistacio cream was ice cold and only in the middle and not spread uniformly while the croissant itself was cold and dry. When we told the waiter about this, he was polite but said he has nothing to do with it. Perhaps some training for the waiters here would be good since if you charge so much, waiters should be more professional and know how to deal with this situation. Thr waiter could have apologized and asked the kitchen what went wrong. He told us that the croissant was made fresh. Well, it tasted old, dry and like it was taken out of a freezer. The worst- couldn’t eat it and still charged for it. Premium places don’t do that. The cafe itself has gone past its good days and needs renovation as currently tables and chairs are lined up like a cafeteria in a production company. Prices went up but quality and service of food and beverages went down. Hiring students to do waiting of tables is fine but you can’t have shoddy service and food and then charge...

I like this place. Will visit again.

The staff here is very kind, professional and polite. The prices are quite high. The ambience is nice and relaxed. They have an inside and an outside sitting area and a kid's playground. There is a parking lot outside as well.

The coffee was quite good. The croissant was nothing special and the ice cream was delicious (Cacao quality good).

I asked the waiter if they serve any breakfasts (I was hoping for a sunny side up egg to be in the menu, since it was being promoted on the TV screen in the main area), I was told they mainly just have different types of ‘Bowls’ for breakfasts or sandwiches. So, I didn’t order the breakfast I...

For now, one of the best! Maintaining top quality since opening. I hate the Cacao in the centre of Ljubljana, while this one is the total opposite. Finally a good Cacao in all areas. Even the Portorož version does not come close. Open, spacy, quality waiters and waitresses, everything you order is good. Just don't order anything with cream. That cream is strange. And like at Locus, your kids are safe and playing and you can have a chill pill during. The playground has a nice unobtrusive fence, so the kids can't "escape" - bummer....;) For now, one of the few 5...
