I ordered a glass of white wine, specifically Rebula. However, upon being served, I noticed the wine was a dark orange hue, indicating oxidation. I inquired with the waiter, who assured me it was indeed Rebula, claiming he witnessed the bartender open a fresh bottle. Despite this, the wine's color and taste clearly indicated oxidation. I took the initiative to inspect the bottle at the bar, where the bartender defensively presented a sealed bottle. Upon opening a new bottle in front of me, the wine poured was the expected yellow color characteristic of Rebula. I placed the served orange wine against the freshly poured Rebula, highlighting the discrepancy. Unfortunately, no apologies were offered. Additionally, the food, while visually resembling Mexican cuisine, lacked authentic flavor. The absence of spices beyond salt and pepper, along with diluted sauces, further detracted from the experience.
