Roll to Door — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

I usually really enjoy sushi with tobiko and have ordered similar rolls from other places many times without any fishy taste. This time, however, all three rolls (around €45 total) had a strong fishy flavor and smell that made them unpleasant to eat. Even black rolls with squid ink have always been fine for me elsewhere, so I know it wasn’t just the coloring as they tried to explain. Even the cream cheese and spicy mayo didn’t taste great or help balance the flavor. Wolt told us the restaurant checked the ingredients and said they were fine, but the taste was far from fresh and definitely not worth the price. With so many positive reviews, I expected much more, but now I’m wondering if some of those reviews might be from acquaintances as someone else mentioned. Unfortunately, instead of a refund, they invited us to come to their restaurant and try again, which is not a solution for the food we already paid for and did not enjoy. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and considers improving the quality or offering better solutions to customers...

It seems untradicional for a sushi place. There is a variety of rolls and even sushi burgers and roll dogs. They were accomodating when we wanted rolls without spicy sauce in them (I wanted to try it so they gave us the sauce extra in a small cup). The food was very good and something different. For 6 pieces of roll, 5 pieces of sushi and 2 pieces of felix (sushi) we paid 33 €. I think that is reasonable. The only downside is little longer wait than expected in a basicaly empty restaurant (but then again, could be due to our special request about the spicy sauce). All in all I recommend...

Definitely pick up place! They have a lot of tables inside and outside, but it’s not nice to eat there. Very loud noises from the street and quite expensive for what you get in paper box. Let’s say, there few things missing for people to actually dine in… I felt like I was interrupting girl on the cashier from playing on her phone, so first impression was not really great. And waiting time was long…even tho they were empty. But it was tasty. Some rolls were falling apart, but in general was good. So I would recommend it as takeaway,...
