Minnie's Pizzeria - Baysvillage — Restaurant in Bayswater

While the pizza's were good the experience was terrible. We booked a table for five people, time 6.30 pm. Arrived on time and were seated. Drink orders delivered, pizza's ordered. It took 1.5 hours to receive our food! The manager gave one look at the empty table on her inspection tour, one hour in and rushed to the kitchen. Came back with a long story of how busy they are on a Friday night with take-aways, but within 7 - 10 minutes we will have food. It took 30 minutes more. Are take-aways more important than planned seated guests you may ask? Or was the order overlooked , i.e. a systems mistake you may ask? Or was it plain disrespect to a paying client? The place is extremely loud with loud music playing, the kind that urges diners to hurry along and makes it difficult to chat. Maybe just order the take-aways if you are hungry. They have preference. On the other hand, the couple who suggested we dine in found that the take-away pizzas had skimpy toppings the last time they did that. Will...

We choose the Kerdoni’s because it was close and convenient for us after a 6 hours trip. My wife had spare ribs and my daughter and myself had pizzas. The waiting was long, and the food just bad. The ribs were just warm close to cold in the inside and the pizzas reheated. Probably because they did not communicate with the kitchen and it waited for the spare ribs to be ready. I also took the waitress recommendations, and had what the chutney based pizza, which was quoted “really delicious”. When I asked about the chutney base, she said it was chutney from the Spar. Nothing wring to use chutney from the spare but funny to be told that. Well, if the ribs would have been properly reheated I am sure it would have been good, as it tasted fine. Went to Minnie's Pizzeria for a date on April 10, 2025, and wow, it was awesome! The place looks super fancy with cool decor, totally setting the vibe for a fun night. Someone greeted us right at the door, and the staff were all smiles when we ordered drinks.

We got pasta and wine, and let me tell you, it was so good, like, I’m still dreaming about it. The whole atmosphere was chill yet classy, perfect for a date. Everyone working there was incredibly friendly, which made us feel more welcome and comfortable.

I kinda miss the old Kerdoni's vibe, it had that classic feel, but Minnie’s is killing it by keeping the same tasty menu. Honestly, I can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for great food and a good time, you gotta check...
