WOW! What a spot. Serves variety of options, from brunch to dinner, sundowners to dates and everything in between. The venue is nestled in a boutique hotel, overlooking the perfectly manicured back terrace garden, scatters with heaters and umbrellas to suit the weather. The venue exudes opulence and fine taste, with soft lighting, well placed fireplace for those winter evenings, and corner seating nodes for larger groups. Service is slick, menu is small but accurate, with something for everyone. Drinks list had me weak at the knees, I was able to have a glass or a carafe of wine as my mood changed with the weather on this particular visit, Sundowner slash Date-night, alas it was completed with us ordering a range of tasty treats, from oysters to fries. Can’t think of a reason that this spot couldn’t rise to an occasion. Well worth a visit!

We were in the area, on a Friday at 8pm, looking for a spot for drinks but thinking "cosy, classy" when this popped up on Google Maps as an option. Well thank goodness it did, because what a treat! We were warmly welcomed inside, having just missed the rush because it was fairly quiet. There was a DJ playing softly in the background, which added to the ambiance. The fire was lovely to warm up next to. We opted for a non-alcoholic cocktail, which was amazing, and a carafé of Pinot Noir, which probably could have been slightly more chilled, but I can't complain because Thato took good care of us & made us feel like a million bucks. We are so glad to have accidentally stumbled upon this spot & will definitely be back to try the food next time!

Incognito in Constantia turned up the fun with Margarita Week, offering some cool twists on our fave cocktail. Here's the scoop: - **Spicy Margarita** was all about that heat with a sweet kick. Perfect for anyone looking to spice things up! - **Basil and Kiwi Margarita** hit the spot with its fresh and slightly tart vibes. It was like summer in a glass. - **Poached Pear Margarita** was the class act of the night, mixing sweet pear with a hint of cinnamon. Super smooth and sophisticated. All in all, Margarita Week was a blast. Great drinks, delicious food, and the perfect spot to hang out. Can't wait for the next one!

About a year ago I made a booking well in advance to celebrate the engagement between myself and my fiancé. We made sure to make the booking in person for the weekend and everything seemed to be in order. We discussed the platters I was going to purchase for the guests and the area we would be utilising on the evening. Then it comes to a day before my engagement, mind you im already nervous. They call me and say that they cannot host my event any longer because they had a bigger group who would be utilising the space. This group obviously booked after me but because they were larger in numbers and perhaps more affluent, my booking was disregarded and cancelled being the smaller party. They spun some excuse saying that they overbooked but I know for a fact this is not the case since we booked dim person and not through a third party website. This really left a sour taste, especially since it was going to be a surprise for my fiancé. Thankfully, another restaurant came through a mere 24 hours before the big day and their service was impeccable. The customer service at incognito was incredibly poor and their neglect for my booking really left me angry...

Had the worst experience here. I’m embarrassed I recommended this place. Why? All because of the manager. The food is usually good and I can’t fault the Resturant but the service? Absolutely terrible experience and ruined the whole evening.

We were told we could sit at a table until the next reservation came. We ordered immediately, a bottle of wine, starters, food the whole lot! Only to be told 20 min later by the manager that the table we were seated at that the booking was brought forward, bearing in mind AFTER we had already sat down. Usually in hospitality you’d say “sorry the table is now taken as that slot was available and your current reservation will be ready for you at the time you originally booked” nope. We instead got kicked out, our food was canceled by the manager and we were told to leave. No smile, no trying to accommodate us.

I can’t promise if you go to this restaurant they will look after you, honor your booking and not kick you out. So rather go somewhere else :) very bad service for...

As a regular patron, I never felt the need to check the menu when ordering my usual items. However, I did glance at the menu and noticed that the Steak Tagliata and House Fries were still listed. When my order arrived, I was surprised to find that one of the standard ingredients had been replaced—fresh rocket was swapped out for rocket pesto. While I respect your creative freedom to reinvent dishes, it feels misleading to keep the same name for something that has clearly changed.

Similarly, your "House Fries" were always thinly cut shoestring fries, so I didn’t expect them to be replaced with a thicker cut. The overall experience was disappointing, and unfortunately, one of my favorite spots will now see much less of me. The great location and meals were my justification for the premium prices on cocktails and drinks, but this recent visit has left me...
