From the moment we entered at the gate and announced our reservation, professional and friendly security allowed us through. The single lane drive up to the restaurant/tasting room is charming. Walking to the restaurant, we were met and greeted by a friendly host, Misha, escorting us to our outside table under the trees. The shade and cool breeze was welcoming. The restaurant has a stylish, modern feel, yet not loosing the vineyard, country side feel, being surrounded by beautiful gardens, grassy lawns and mountain views. We decided on the Partnership set menu which pairs with 3 different R&R wines. Conway, the wine expert, doubled up serving as well, taking us through every dish and glass. His knowledge, humour and professionalism enhanced this luxurious experience. Every bite, savour and sip was amazing! Delightful bursts of flavour, with unique recipe's which we found out was a collaborative effort between the chef's and staff. Ciska, the manager was friendly and hands on but all the staff were amazing and work well together. Thank you R&R team, for making our day out so special. Highly...

I was really looking forward to this lunch as I have been drinking their wine for years with pleasure. I'm afraid it was a great disappointment. Expecting a more traditional architecture, I found a very modern and unattractive venue. The staff were welcoming and friendly. When I originally asked to increase our number to 4, I was informed they were full but would try to accommodate. They did. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty and stayed that way! 4 other tables only were occupied. It took ages before menus were provided but a welcoming glass of excellent French champagne was served. Meal included wine pairing and was excellent in both quality and quantity. The food was well presented but nothing exceptional and the quality frankly disappointing. Elements were fine but the main parts weren't. The staff at all times were professional and understanding. For an establishment with name credentials of this fame, a wholly disappointing experience. Maybe for others less picky, the price would be...

I had lunch on Friday at my favourite wine farm R&R! I ordered the Bouillabaisse which is my favourite. What a treat!! The chef put her own spin on this famous classic French fish stew!! What a stroke of genius! Every element on the plate worked in harmony. It was definitely the best Bouillabaisse I have eaten!! This chef definitely looks outside the box! The flavours were so intense and delicious. Paired with the baroness Nadine !! Yummy! My friend had the Karoo lamb with fresh black truffle shavings. This is the best meal I had since returning from my gastronomic experience in Europe. The service was attentive but not intrusive! I must thank the manager, Ray-Dawn and her excellent team for a beautiful lunch!! I highly recommend this restaurant and wine farm. The wines are exquisite and tasty! I will be...

I had been to some wine estates in Stellenbosch a few years ago, so by comparison, THIS was the best wine tasting and lunch I have experienced to date. Not only are the wines top quality, but you get to to taste ANY wine (so basically you pick and create your own wine tasting selection) which I think is much better! We paired our wine tasting with lunch. The food was mind-blowing! The gentleman who served us was friendly and professional and knowledgeable about the wines. I would definitely recommend this place for serious wine lovers and foodies. Probably not the best place to bring kids though. I would describe this estate as sophisticated and elegant. Well worth the visit!

A truly exceptional dining experience! The tasting menu showcases stunning seasonal dishes, each thoughtfully paired with wines from the estate by knowledgeable sommeliers. The service team strikes the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. Standouts include the springbok carpaccio and the structured wine tastings that take you through their impressive vintages. The restaurant's elegant setting overlooking the vineyards creates a perfect backdrop for special occasions. While premium-priced, the combination of superb food, expert wine service, and magnificent views makes it absolutely worth it. A must-visit for fine dining and wine enthusiasts.
