KFC Beacon Bay — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

KFC Beacon Bay is quite good for a drive through, and is my preferred KFC in East London.

It has ample local parking available and is on the same property as Spargs Superstar, with other businesses around in immediate vicinity but not directly buttressing it (it has its own little "bubble" of space so one doesn't feel like a sardine).

I personally prefer the drive through as that is nice and quick, buy historically I haven't ordered a complex or varied meal. I find the tills and queue times a bit slow, especially relative on average to the drive through.

I would say that it beats all other KFC in East London due to location (safety, parking, own space), very well kept interior and exterior with no garbage or house keeping issues, and generally good meal delivery turnaround time.

Food quality-wise, I haven't had any issues to date with food quality and no returns. I also have not experienced any annoying clerical issues...

tonight i orderd 4 streetwise 2.. got informed no chicken ...will have to wait 20 min... which i did. 30 min in i asked how long still.. no answer from the lady at the counter. at about 40min into my wait. a guy was standing next to me who also complained about waiting long for 2 streetwise 2's. and they took it out of the bag they were packing for me and gave it to him! at which point i had to ask how long can 4 streetwise two's take! and she quickly grabbed two other boxes put them back in my bag and gave it to me. Second time i experience this absolutely poor service with no communication or willingness to help.

Don't think i would ever go...

Told to use new order system on screen self service so we order 3 street wize 3 and chips and a large chip side what we got was 3 box's of 2 tiny pieces of chicken and regular chips I complaints said this is not what we order and was told "it procedure " I had to force them to fix it when i took my phone to take a picture they quicky fix the chicken to what it should be but I still feel the chips was regular size and was told it a portion and how the thing works in leaving we said that we won't go back to that kfc again or the gonubie branch all so due to horrible service . Please check your food before you leave...
