Busy and popular restaurant. Lots of convenient parking. Staff appears friendly, professional and smartly dressed. Nice and neat inside. Mind the hidden step to the men's restroom. Missing towels to dry your hands. The Won Ton soup was very salty, tasted of seaweed, and the dumpling could have been more cooked. Beef noodles was tender and tasty but a bit heavy on the salty sauce.

I ordered won ton, chicken and cashew with noodles as a takeaway, it was tasty but chopsticks or a fork and some serviettes would have helped. I was disappointed with the veg, looked like mix veg, I was looking forward to the veg sliced for Chinese meals and no peas. The won ton was good and the chocolate spring rolls were too thick and oily. Great service.

Sushi was amazing! Freshest fish and they are not shy on the amount of fish in the sushi. Chinese dishes also amazing. The dim sum is not real dim sum, rather it's a bao. Still tasty though. We also had deep fried ice cream, it was totally worth it! Decor and atmosphere are lovely. Will be back.

Disappointed. I ordered Sweet and Sour chicken a year ago. It tasted like it was baked in fish oil or something - not good at all. I thought it would have improved so I gave it another try and bought Curry for my husband and the Chicken for myself again. The chicken tasted old and stale again. The sauce in the curry dish was good but the potatoes in the meal tasted old as well. A day later our friends went and ordered dumplings that were undercooked and chow mein was not nice at all. The service isn’t good. We phoned and ordered beforehand. When we arrived we gave them our order and they told us to wait, but the meal was ready on the counter and getting cold and we eventually had to ask a second time about our food and then they saw it was right there...

I’m utterly disappointed with the service of your Avo delivery drivers. On one occasion my sushi arrived completely destroyed that it was inedible. On the second occasion my order was late by more than 1 hour. On the most recent occasion your Avo ordering system had no driver to deliver to my area which is utterly disappointing. I never have such problems when ordering with Happy Eating whose deliveries are done on their website by their delivery partner called Delivast. I live quite a distance from Shanghai and it would be nice to get delivery with a reliable partner as I can't order on Mr D or Uber Eats. I want to stay a Shanghai customer but please consider Delivast if you want to help more customers like me especially who...

Arrived for a birthday celebration. Our waitress was clearly not properly trained. Our food was served without any utensils, serviettes etc, of any sort, we waited at least 5 mins, while our food was getting cold. My son's starter was brought after his main meal was served, main meal was getting cold. My granddaughter of 8yrs suffered, vomiting from the Crabstick sushi, her grandad is suffering with a bad tummy from the Sweet n Sour pork. We had to wait for the bananas to be bought at the One Stop shop, as they had none in stock. No management in sight. Will I be promoting Shanghai, definitely NO! No apologies, as this was not a bad day for them, poor management and...
