Well now, one would think that with a brand name like OB all over different places... there will be a certain level of service and quality of food that one can recognize with the brand... ho wrong was I, from the service to food and then was the management... wow, I don't think the ocean had more salt than my starter, then came the mains, with chips that cold you will think u are in JNB middle of winter... all of this reported to management for the manager to question me on how cold is it and what the issue was with that... cold food no thank you...

This was an uter waste of time, money, and energy, worst meal I ever had to pay for... management of this restaurant is welcome to get in touch with me... I will gladly share a piece of mind with them about how much worse can service and food really get...

So to add, George from the store did give me a call... we chatted about the issue, then were told by George he will come back to me the same day... Guess what it's now been almost a week and no response from George... I guess he is still playing in...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Basket located at Saveways Crescent Centre in Emalahleni, and it was a truly enjoyable experience.

From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. I was served by Thabo, who was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was to my satisfaction throughout the meal. I ordered the hake with rice and chips, and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside and tender on the inside while the sides complemented the dish well. It was one of the best hake dishes I've had in a while.

The overall atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, making it a great spot for both a quick meal or a casual outing. Given the great service and quality of food, I would definitely recommend Ocean Basket to anyone looking for a tasty seafood experience...
