Accessibly situated in Johan Heyns Drive, this very popular venue offers a great range of dishes for a very affordable price. For starters we ordered their Calamari, however a short while later one of their friendly waiters approached us apologizing that they unfortunately did not get their delivery of calamary and crumbed mushrooms (our second choice for a starter and cancelling our plans for choice of mains – the Hake & Calamari). For a starter we opted for their Chicken Livers. This was freshly prepared and well cooked. This was served in a very rich, decadent creamy sauce and served with a sweet bun. For mains we decided on their 300g Fillet and Hake. Again, they unfortunately did not have the Fillet and we opted on the Rump. The Rump was perfectly prepared medium rare as ordered, with a brush of sweet BBQ basting. This was served with a bake potato and some butter. Simple and fresh. The hake was also well prepared, grilled and juicy. This was served with a crisp salad (fresh mixed salad leaves, mixed tomato, and cucumber), and some lemon butter sauce on the side. Hi again, this is the American guy with a new review. I will start with, I didn't think it could get any better but last night I was having a taste sensation in my mouth last night. I decided to go rouge and change up my order and I am glad I did. I went for the GOD FATHER PIZZA and it was a taste experience I will never forget. Now to be honest I am a meat man so I got rid of the feta and avos. But eating that pizza was by far the absolute best pizza I have ever ate in my 8 years in this country. My advice is give them one try. There prices are real low and if you didn't enjoy your pizza and I could afford it, I would refund your money. Worst place we have ever been to. If I had an option to put a 0 star on all the above I would. Waiter can not communicate, paid R200 for 2 coffees and 2 soft drinks, ordered Pizza, waited 30 minutes, the whole place smoked up, they put big industrial fans whirring at top speed to get rid of the smoke but at the same time in the middle of the winter, the waiter re-appeared telling us we cant get the Pizza we ordered as they can not get the wood oven to work, power tripped, we waited another 20 minutes before the incoherent waiter could get his ducks in a row and produce a bill.
