We had a 80th birthday here worst service I have had in a long time Had to wait for fillings for the pancakes as they continued running out of the very limited servings Owner was extremely rude when some people opted to order from the menu instead of eating the pancakes with limited filings!!!!

You had fruit out as desert and the nartjies were disgusting dried out and no flavor.....

I paid R 140.00 for 3 pancakes with spinach on had to wait for the cheese filling as you ran out numerous times

upon seeing your disgust at people ordering from the main menu I opted not to do the same as i am not the quiet type and would have told you where to stick your food and menu !!!!

As a landmark in Alberton you need to do better also thanks for the ice cream we never got as desert Also your burgers were shitty worst my son ever had......

If you are looking to step back into the 60ties and 70ties,this is the place to go.Its a very quaint coffee shop. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet,you could actually have a conversation, the music was faintly in the back ground. They have all these historical nooks and crannies to explore, very vintage and full of history. The food was absolutely delicious. I had family from Cape Town and Durban and took then on 2 different days. I love that you have tables in little nooks and don't have to sit ontop of other tables. They have a gorgeous outside courtyard, for events or big families,place for kids to play outside in safety. A BEAUTIFUL waterfall. It's serene and I'll definitely go again.The staff were very friendly and service fantastic. You could also buy gifts and keepsakes. Great food as always. Local people. Very interesting vintage items to observe. Fireplace inside Marinda has been here for longer than I can remember. Come and enjoy a freshly made meal anytime time of the day. Food takes a bit longer because it is freshly made. Friendly staff and always clean. Light music in the background sets the tone for a memorable experience. Load shedding not a problem for Landauer so you are always welcome. They cater for all types of functions.
