Debonairs Pizza — Restaurant in Gauteng

A delivery guy from @DebonairsPizza, Dainfern parked in my parking spot while delivering pizza to some other unit in my complex. I had to wait for him to come back and move his vehicle before I could park my car. He sent me the attached apology the next day. The disrespect.

I (angrily) expressed my frustration to him of having to wait for him before I can park my car and go see my daughter after coming from work (at night). I also explained to him that our complex has ample parking for visitors. The parking has clear markings.

He eventually moved his bike and parked it right next to my parking and as he walked away he started making remarks at me such as "You are not a good father", "Do whatever you want", "I said sorry". This is the second time that this has happened to me and it's unacceptable.

It's also important to note that I was ready to let this go until he made those remarks and then a day later sent me his lousy apology, which is more of a lecture

Update: I received the attached follow-up apology from Jimmy Wills. I am disappointed at how this gentleman doesn't seem to understand, or perhaps he hasn't been trained on how to deliver a simple apology.

I am even more disappointed that Debonairs Dainfern has not called or emailed me to apologize for the incident or to provide some kind of update as to how this is...

I placed an order at 19:09 to be exact but the only was delivered cold now at 21:42. I called the store several times with the first call at 20:00 were I was told the driver will be there in about 10 minutes, about 40 minutes later I was told to hold for over 5 minutes and my call got cut so I called again and the lady said she will check with the store and let me know which never happened however the driver left with a lot of orders. I tried calling again at 21:30 and the call was going straight to voicemail that it’s outside operating hours and at 21:42 a driver was at the gate and said the store asked him to deliver as their drivers were not there the order has been waiting for too long while they said to me the order left the store at 20:00.

Tried cancelling online which I wasn’t able to and couldn’t get hold of the store to cancel and...

I placed an order at 19:09 and when I went online to track it, I was unable to do say at their website was down. I called in at 20:13 and was put on hold. Again called at 20:36 and I was informed the driver has collected the pizza. At exactly 21:00 I called to do follow up as my place is at least 15min drive from Dainfern.

I was baffled when I was informed “no your driver just collected your order.” When I asked kanti did y’all say it was collected already at 20:36 and the lady spoke to her colleague and they informed her it was already collected then(which I reckon is hogwash).

Fast forward, please tell me how it is possible to place an order at 19:09 and only to get it delivered at exactly 21:56? The pizza was cold and oh Shem dry as there was hardly cheese on it…. If hunger could kill I would have died from waiting...
