Del Forno Bryanston — Restaurant in Gauteng

Ordered from Del Forno Bryanston, three times over Uber Eats and every time it has been sup par, not very tasty compared to their Parkmore branch. This last time was beyond inedible and so I called them. Was offered nothing except an email to head office, if you are told that the food your served is inedible how then can you not rectify it by even a simple offer of a margarita pizza. The disloyalty that was thrown at me today has put me off so much that I will never order or even set foot into another Del Forno ever again, speaking as a long term customer of Sunninghill branch and since day 1 a loyal customer to the Parkmore branch which is by far the best, most generous, polite and loyal staff.

Not only was the pizza dried out AND burnt, so was the pasta, two meals inedible and you chose to blame Uber Eats over rectifying a paid customer's order. Terrible food and terrible business. This place deserved a zero rating. On 16 March 2025 I came with friends for a quick bite. The fish was overcooked, the lamb was unappetizing and had a foul odor, and my sister's husband's meal was equally disappointing. Honestly, it feels like you’re taking us for granted. I spent R920 on food that was not only tasteless but also made me sick. After the meal, I experienced severe stomach issues, vomited and believe is from the lamb I ate. "Disappointed" and "hurt" don't even begin to capture how I feel. None of us could finish our meals, and it’s clear there isn’t a qualified chef in that kitchen. I had an appalling meal at the Sunninghill Delforno a few years ago and swore never again.Today I had business to do in the Bryanston Shopping Centre, so I popped into Delforno for lunch - rump steak and two fried eggs which was ghastly!!! The steak should have been medium to well done, but parts of it were very red inside and parts of the outside were charred. The eggs were okay, but the chips were dreadful, as they were skinny with dreadful red spice on them. All in all a shocking meal, despite the nice mango juice.
