Fishaways Bracken City — Restaurant in Gauteng

So we didn’t feel like cooking and decided to order (big mistake) the lady who initially helped, was very slow and kept repeating herself. But I thought she could be in training, I remained patient.She took the order, to which I gave an alternative contact number to the number on the system and I told them the driver can press our unit number at the gate and it will dial our cellphone.

Almost an hour goes by and no order received. I called in and the land lines weren’t working, so I called into streers and they gave the phone to Fishaways, who told me she would call me back. Another 20 minutes goes by, no call back. I phoned again and the lady also said she would call back and she did… only to tell me “sorry but we didn’t have the correct contact number” and the driver was on his way.

Another call back 10 minutes later to tell me “sorry the driver returned to the store because he could not get hold of you” meanwhile I called in 3 times and I was called back twice. Only to have the lady argue with me to tell me that we didn’t get them the correct details. Even though we did and we have an alternative and we told them to call us at the gate.

Terrible service and really disappointing, I guess we’ll have to...

My son ordered take aways for delivery on the 13/4/18, we waited for an hour for the delivery when he enquired as to the delay he was told they were very busy and the order would be available in another 40 minutes. While on the phone the driver arrived. The food that was delivered was not edible the chips, which he had asked to be crispy were soggy cold and oily. The fish was also soggy and oily. When he phoned to complain the manager did not allow him to explain and kept interrupting him. They sent a new meal within half an hour. The chips were still not crispy but were at least hot and edible. The service at this franchise has steadily got worse and this includes Steers, my family will never order from this...

Absolutely disgusting customer service, they can never get simple orders done correctly. Had a previous issue with delivery food arrived 2hrs late. This round after a few debates decided to collect and they don't pack some of the items. Waiting for this centralized pathetic call center to address the issue is just a blame game between the store and agents. Terrible customer service, no resolution...
