On Monday night September 9th, I placed an order for a simple hake and calamari tube combo using the ‘new app’.
I was previously encouraged to use it rather than placing the order at the counter or phoning the order in.
I thought it silly as the restaurant is literally less than 2km from my house.
The order was placed at 19:55 and I received the confirmation SMS and Email at 19:57 and I was confident that all was set.
I carried on with a couple of things around the house and finally settled in front of the TV. Now I was hungry and the time was approximately 20:45.
I was getting concerned as it was almost an hour since I placed the order(remember the shop is less than 2km from my place). I tried to query on the app but the so called ‘agents’ are bots directing you to FAQ’s.
Eventually, after trying to navigate the slow and poorly designed app I was told to phone the branch. Now it’s 20:53. I phone and it just keeps on ringing until it goes to voicemail where I was unable to leave a message at first.
After trying twice for the branch. I went looking for other support and eventually found the 0861 number. I got through to an agent and explained my dilemma at 20:59. The call cut off and I phoned back and was on hold for 4 minutes without being connected. I ended the call and tried again... but now at 21:08 I was prompted by a recorded message that the help line was out of service until the next day.
At 21:20 I didn’t dinner and no option but to settle for the franchise with the big M. I hate eating from there...
I’m still waiting for my order 2 days later. No apology. No response from the manager or the like after I was eventually was able to leave a voicemail at 21:15. The helpline also never...

My patronage with Fishaways Monument Park ended today, and this is why: • my wife had to AGAIN address this stinking, less-than-enthusiastic attitude in the staff member who took her order. (Maybe this Fishaways worker should be watering flowers in a nursery, rather than upsetting customers - to the extent that they loose their appetite in the process) • the "hake-and-stirfry" combo had SOMETHING in it, that upset my stomach completely. Because I've had many of these at other outlets, I knów this food has been tampered with.
About a month ago I personally had a run-in with this worker, and threatened to report this. I let it go, in order to see whether things would change for the better. Sadly it hasn't.
Fishaways needs to look deeply into the quality of the people...
