Kim Bo and Sushi waverley — Restaurant in Gauteng

It is with regret that I post this review. Just as lockdown regulations eased I went to my favorite sushi restaurant Kim Bo and Shushi. After placing my order. I tapped my card and the transaction went thru. They then said it didn't go thru on their side and I need to insert my card into the machine and pay again. I paid again but they guaranteed me if the money does not go back into my account I must come back and they will settle it. I went back when the money wasn't back into my account and they just told me they haven't received the money twice and I must contact my bank. I have been supporting them ever since they started as a very small take away restaurant and watched them grow into the high quality restaurant they are today. The service I received has changed my mind towards supporting them. They have lost a loyal customer over a single transaction. To future customers please make sure not to use tap payments when making transactions at this restaurant. I hope no customer receives the same service I...

It is my first experiance buying here, their chow mein is realy bland and the chicken seemed dry, their chow faan and other fried rice dish coming with sticky chicken has no taste, it was JUST RICE with small traces of egg. So i am realy not impressed with their normal dishes. That being said the sticky chicken alone, even though the chicken having a twxture of biltong was nice. I am willing to try them again in the future. Maybe change the review to more positive or not.

I do want to add that their price is realy good, their service is not tops and yes the wait was not that long. They do not give any plastic cutlery on takeaway. Again, this my first experience and i am willing to give them...

This was the place to go for sushi in the moot area.

But suddenly the quality and care for the food changed.

You pay for something to enjoy, not getting a cockoroach leg in 2 separate sushi pieces. The best is that it was the last 2 pieces after having a lovers platter for dinner.

The rice used to be okay the following day to have for lunch, but it gets sour and smells so quickly that you have to eat the food as soon as you receive it.
