Dined the first time at Ocean basket Waverley plaza. Like the layout of the place. Nice decor. Dissapointed with service. Seems the waiter cant hear propley. Got the order wrong. Orderd 2 famous fish with half rice and chips. One order was served correctly. The other order was chips and fish. Waiter didnt even have the deceny to ask.if we were satisfied and everything was in order. Food was good. Not very impressed. Had better service at Brewers , Spur, Kozi ,Wimpy , Elmas. Service at these places is 100 %. Dont think i will dine here again. Not enough waiters. Place is small and cannot accomodate many customers. Waitet Serves others. Doesnt bother to ask if he can serve anything else. Clean forgets to ask if he can bring the bill. Bread roll.is small and hard . Couldnt cut it easily. Bad managment. Wont recommend this place to.anybody. cannot understand how other people can give this place such good reviews. Definetly not up to standard. Carries a big device to take orders. Very stupid. We recently visited Ocean Basket Waverley and were genuinely impressed. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and relaxed. The service was attentive without being overbearing (thank you Aiden) , and the atmosphere had that signature Ocean Basket charm - casual, clean, and family-friendly.

The food? Absolutely delicious. Our seafood was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully plated. The lemon butter sauce was a standout - somehow richer and more flavourful than we’ve had at other branches. Every bite felt like a little coastal escape.
