Read moreChris, our waiter 10/10. We really are so fortunate to have such an amazing experience.
For starters, i had to get the kebabs because they are the best you have ever eaten. They are a firm favourite in our family and thus far, no ones kebabs beat theirs. They are an experience on its own. Then i got the hallaumi, grilled. It was healthier. But i prefer fried. Always fried.
Mains were the chicken fillet i dont remember the name but it was absolutely delicious. The chicken wasnt rubbery or overdone. It was tasty and the sauce was amazing. If you need something hotter, i think bring your own sauce. Served with chips and mash i think.
Then we had the chops, the one Chris recommended, the peri peri was mild so you might have to bring your own hot sauce if tobasco doesnt do it for you. The rice and mash are a great combo option because my mom doesnt ever finish her sides and she did this time.
I had the hake and chips with rice and omw, i didnt get heartburn after all that butter sauce. Its the perfect blend of lemon butter recommended by Chris. The fish at first i thought tasted a bit fishy but it just melted. In my mouth. It wasnt overdone. It was perfect.
I got the salad thats first on the menu, salad section, was so good i got a takeaway of it.
I really wanted to try the desserts but we were too full. I think you have to go for dessert seperately.
The drinks were amazing as well. Try their crusher items.
A note. I got their sushi the california roll, i assumed it was a crispy california like them all but it turns out it was a california cone. Dont get confused and please make sure with the waiter. It was devine though.
We got them as takeaways as well, please ask them to pack seperately and make sure all lids are sealed well as it messed in the bag when we brought it home. WE ALSO GOT THE MAC AND CHEESE I FORGOT! That was amazing as well. Sprinkle with paprika and you have a totally different taste...
Read moreSo my friend ate at Le Kreamery in the East Rand and loved it so much that we booked to eat at the one today in Centurion. Firstly the websites are confusing about their operating hours and she phoned to book a table for us when they open at 3pm. We arrived a few minutes before 3pm to find the restaurant still closed, with nobody inside. 3pm came and went and we went into Woollies. When we were done we went back to the restaurant which had just opened with one person inside. We were told they only closed at 4am therefore some staff were still on their way. That should have already given us an indication about the service we will receive. It took about 20min before they came to take our order. We were then told we cannot have the pizzas as the oven is not on yet. It turned out that quite a few dishes could not be served as it needs to go into the same pizza oven, i.e. the New York style mac and cheese. More than an hour after we have arrived we had drinks and our main meal. The manager came to apologise and to offer dessert on the house, which took another hour before one waffel and pancakes arrived. Ooh and the Lindor waffel was not available.
We were told the service was slow because of all the take aways they had to prepare! Really, should dine-in customers wait?
So all in all not a good experience and definitely not worth driving 40km to get to. What we got served was good, but it is the whole package...
