Wimpy Eldo Square Halaal — Restaurant in Gauteng

I am always trying to be positive when writing reviews, but today we had a bad experience. We ordered filter coffee with hot milk. We received our hot milk in a normal coffee mug, not a jug (see attached picture) so it was extremely difficult to pour milk without spilling. The waitress said there were no little milk jugs available. There were no individual butters, so a scoop of margarine was served in a plastic take away container (see picture) and the 3 of us had to share. She served the breakfast without jams and after enquiring about it, she said there was no jam available. The empty plates was left on our table and not cleared after eating, untill the next round of coffee came. Hubby and I went to Wimpy in Eldo Square on 30 November 2024 and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was so friendly and accommodating - impeccable service! The staff really create such a wonderful atmosphere. The place is clean and we were impressed that the sauce bottles were so clean, no grimy and hard sauce on the lids. Plus they had a shaker with red chilli powder...nice! Just need a little vinegar :-). We don't eat beef but they happily substituted the patty for a lamb one. The chips were freshly fried and came piping hot. The two ladies running the place run a tight ship. Firstly when we got into the restaurant we waited 15 mins for a waiter ,we ordered a peri peri basing steak when they brought it the sauce was bbq and the steak was burnt black it could not even be cut, we then called the manager who claimed that the peri peri sauce was finished but when they took our order no one made mention of that. We ordered a wimpy burger at 10:30am we received it at 12:30pm the manager and the waiter serving us were absolutely rude and unhelpful.
