Lucky Bread Company - Midstream — Restaurant in Gauteng

I normally rave about Lucky Bread Midstream and we are regulars. This morning we took a stroll from Midstream Ridge to Lucky Bread. We asked for Mushrooms on toast off the menu but we were told they were sold out. Not a great start! I then ordered the Avo on toast which was lovely. My wife ordered a simple piece of toast with butter. Firstly, we were charged R12 for the bread and because she asked for rye we were charged R16 extra. I could understand it if we were charged an additional R4 for rye, but R28 for 2 small pieces of bread is daylight robbery. The toast was soaked in some kind of oil and was dripping wet. To top it off we were charged R5 for the butter. Now, I have eaten at restaurants my entire life and have never been charged for butter!!!! Not even Wimpy charges you for butter!!! I ordered a Green Juice which was luke warm so ice cubes had been added. I don't know if adding ice cubes is a way to save costs (less juice per glass) but I didn't want ice cubes in my health drink! I will think twice before...

Good coffee. Nice food AWFUL service. Super slow. Wait 10+min for coffee. 20-30 minute for simple food like sandwiches or granola bowl. It's really like they DON'T care to do anything faster because they will always have customers anyway. New waiters are not trained and even after feedback, ignore you and forget orders Succumbed to the Midstream curse. Too many people, too little options, so restaurants and shops can be as lazy and expensive as they want because the people don't have many...

Second time that I order via Uber Eats that Lucky Bread Midstream does not give them the correct or full order!! Last time I ordered a Dirty Chai, received two cappucinos, today I ordered another Dirty Chai and cake, just got the cake. I see that with other companies, there is at least a reply to the reviews, with Lucky Bread there is just silence...
