Senhor Peri Peri Midstream — Restaurant in Midstream Estate

Dissapointing to say the least, rather order Mc Donald's....you will have a better experience.

I ordered the chicken strips and chips & toasted chicken sandwich and chips

Although the chips were tasty the sandwich bread was soggy and inedible. The chicken strips & chips (which cost R60) included 100grams of chicken strips which is a complete ripoff.

I contacted the restaurant and spoke to the manager. Informed him of my issue with the sandwich and enquired about the portion size of the chicken strips. He was very apologetic and offered to replace the sandwich and send a new portion of chicken strips.

The new sandwich arrived, still soggy, and now made on normal bread. The new portion of chicken strips now had 150grams of chicken strips. (a whopping 50% increase)

Obviously portion and quality control at this restaurant is lacking. Only reason its a 2 star rating instead of 1 star is the effort the manager put in to try solve...

Very disorganised. Takes extremely long to get orders out. Guy collects all the slips from waiting customers as they dont seem te be able to keep track what orders are still outstanding. I wont order here again for a while until they get their act together.

Had a quick sit down lunch between chores, and was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. I’d give the burger 5 stars for taste, but the 4 is due to the fillet being quite thin compared to Nando’s. Soft, fresh roll and juicy and tasty overall. I’ll definitely consider them...
