Lusitano Club & Restaurant — Restaurant in Gauteng

Lusitano just seems to be getting worse and worse - once one of my favourite Portugese Restaurant / bar hang outs which just seems to be losing its touch over time - more focused on the Gambling machines than anything else if you ask me. Live Music on a Friday night sounded like people were murdering cats - Distortion by a tone deaf cat even !!! people shouldn't try fix what wasn't broken..... Food quality and portioning has also gone down hill.....while prices have climbed to match the likes of proper restaurants in the area. One pays extra for service -- which Sadly Lusitano no longer...

One of the best chickens I've ever had! They had a fantastic special, R79 for Full Chicken and draught beer. Even the normal price (R89) for a Full Chicken is still really good value for money. Most places you won't even get a Half Chicken...

They have the best Portuguese cuisine in Johannesburg South hands down.The food is freshly made and the service is good.If you've been wanting to have Portuguese eats for the first time, i would definitely recommend...
