McDonald's Nigel Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Gauteng

I guess I should have read the reviews first before deciding to visit this branch. Visiting Nigel for a few days. I came in, ordered on the touch screen to dine in. Card was rejected, once when I tapped, then when I inserted. Some connection issue. I was told to pay at the till, but it seemed that the staff were having some meeting at the till, as they were all crammed around the till. Again tried my card, but again some issue.

I asked them to bring a card machine that works. The waiter brought a machine. I could see a QR code displayed and decided to use the Masterpass option. I scanned and payment showed successful on my banking App. The waiter obviously has never used that option and tried to convince me that the option doesn't work. I told him that it had already gone through. He then pressed cancel on the machine which printed out a declined slip. He told me that the transaction will reverse, but a Masterpass payment cannot reverse.

I repeatedly told him to confirm at the main system, but he became extremely rude and told me to pay again. I decided to leave, but was eventually informed that they found the Masterpass payment.

I suggesst less till meetings and more training. Worst...

we got to the store and we had to wait for 10 minutes for our order ,our chips was half burned brown the taste was burnt smell,the 1 burger had a fly in the food and the café latte was so thick I think the milk was sour or the person making it thought its a milkshake , people working there is incompetents' to do their work, What they don't realize is that the customers is paying their salary , if we don't buy food how is their salary`s paid

this was the worse experience I ever had with Mc Donald in my life sins I can remember eating at any branch .I WILL NEVER EAT AT ANY MC DONALD AGAIN , SUCH A SHAME THAT WE GET THAT...

ONE of my favorite crew, she is always bubble, she makes me feel welcomed, even if I don't Wana buy I to McDonald's to buy something just to see her beautiful face n that lovely big smile n welcome soul she have to people.. Claudia she is young but very very good with customers.. I love the way she presents herself to customers, and welcoming customers with a big smile always.. I once went and sit just to see if she is doing that to me only, to my surprise.. She doing it to everyone who comes in.. One of the best crew I ever mate at McD 😍😍❤️❤️I even call her my baby gal💏💕I introduced her to my partner n he loved her first.. No we have a baby gal at McDonald's Nigel.. Thank you so much MCDDDDDD FOR GIVING...
