Motherland coffee — Restaurant in Gauteng

Will NOT be going back to Motherland Midrand! First & last time for me. I arrived to meet friends for breakfast It had been raining. We stood looking around to try & find an extra chair. No staff even looked our way. Eventually I went outside to the deck and carried in a wet chair. Still no help from the staff. I then went to the counter to ask for a cloth to wipe the chair. Two of the staff looked me up & down with much disdain and then looked away. Didn’t even acknowledge my request. Completely ignored me. Eventually after standing around for a while - still being ignored by all - I walked into the kitchen at the back & took paper towels out of their dispenser and cleaned my chair. Still no one cared to assist!! The most unfriendly & unwelcoming staff I have encountered!! I will not be spending my good money on their...

1st time at Motherland Crowthorne, wanted a light meal before going to the dentist.. was sadly disappointed...

Cuppachino was extremely hot, the berry, banana breakfast cup was like a smoothy, not a nice thick fruit, musli, yogurt cup as advertised, was so runny I needed a straw, returned it and asked if that's how it should be?

They brought me another, however exactly the same.. if this is how a Musli fruit cup should be then it's not advertised correctly. Waste of money, rather go to the Engen garage and buy a Cuppachino and...

I dropped into the store on a Saturday so I can’t speak for what it’s like during the week.

There’s varied seating as well as outlets for anyone who is working on their laptops or needs to charge their smart phones.

The atmosphere is nice and quiet so one could get some work done depending on the customer capacity and noise volume.

I’d say there’s enough parking (free boom gate parking and car guards) but again that depends on the busyness of the shopping...
