What a lovely evening! It even made up for the fact that our cricket team lost to Australia in the semi-final ...

Our waiter, Tawandi aka Michael was fantastic. Attentive without being intrusive, and he has a good sense of humour!

My hubby had the picanha (spelling?!) steak and I had the hake & prawn combo. We both had veggies - gem squash stuffed with braised cabbage, roasted carrots and sweet potato, and creamed spinach.

I couldn't believe it was "just" hake? Melt in your mouth delicious! The prawns were well cooked and a very good size. My hubby's steak was also very tender and tasty. I especially loved the gem squash and cabbage, but all the veggies were lovely.

We shared a chocolate mousse and ice cream - too big for just one person (especially after our lekker mains)...

The food was lovely and fresh! My husband ordered the seafood platter for 1, and I ordered the calamari and prawns... everything was very fresh and had good seasoning.
