What a lovely evening! It even made up for the fact that our cricket team lost to Australia in the semi-final ... Our waiter, Tawandi aka Michael was fantastic. Attentive without being intrusive, and he has a good sense of humour! My hubby had the picanha (spelling?!) steak and I had the hake & prawn combo. We both had veggies - gem squash stuffed with braised cabbage, roasted carrots and sweet potato, and creamed spinach. I couldn't believe it was "just" hake? Melt in your mouth delicious! The prawns were well cooked and a very good size. My hubby's steak was also very tender and tasty. I especially loved the gem squash and cabbage, but all the veggies were lovely. We shared a chocolate mousse and ice cream - too big for just one person (especially after our lekker mains) - also yummy!

Food was absolutely excellent and the service was good too 👍 Half chicken and praws 10/10, bacalhau come natas 8/10, calde Verde 8/10. Note this place I think is the same owners as Casa de Tia, so yeah, there will be similarities, but still excellent food. Reccomened for sure!

All the Portuguese food is authentically good, no corner cutting. Very tasty. Good chilli sauce at the table. Decent Portuguese wine. Recommended: beef trinchado, moelas, chicken, prawns, milho frito

The food was lovely and fresh! My husband ordered the seafood platter for 1, and I ordered the calamari and prawns... everything was very fresh and had good seasoning. Their O Beirão Peri Peri sauce is also delightful. The waiter was very helpful and full of jokes. Overall amazing experience... would...

We had some quick lunchtime starters, which were, as usual, excellent. Disappointed that the Superbock draft and bottled was out of stock. Background music was modern commercial pop- we go there for the Portuguese food and vibe. Please consider more themed decor- tiles, ships, music,...
