Baruch's Coffee Roastery — Restaurant in George

Terrible experience.We visited in July with the idea of tasting Israeli cuisine and a good coffee, but to our surprise the food offered in the establishment was something else....small plastic containers in a glass fridge made probably the day before exhibited as " Israeli cuisine". The glass of the fridge didn't look very clean and we were a bit discouraged....but anyway we decided to give it a try..We queued and pay for the food and the coffee and went to sit at a table to wait for it. While being seated we could experience the atmosphere of the place....cold, run down, very ...very neglected. The food arrived cold from the fridge....everything tasted awful and the bread arrived in a dirty plastic container. All the parafernalia hanging in the shop is dusty and the staff wearing dirty uniforms....of course big signs that PHOTOS were not allowed....

It would have been 5 stars but we had to wait about 20- 25 min outside for a table, luckily we had time. They are apparently very busy in the holiday season but it was definitely worth the wait. The food was sooo tasty and the portions are massive, 2 people can definitely eat off of 1 plate. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take pictures inside the restaurant (probably for a "come see for yourself vibe") but rest assured the inside decor is definitely a sight to see. The coffee was also good and people were buying it by the bulk. A tip:go to the counter to order otherwise you'll be sitting at your table looking lost, like we did. The prices are...

When I walked into this coffee shop the first time I thought 'WOW'!!! BEAUTIFULLY decorated. Wonderful amd inviting atmosphere. I stayed at a guesthouse where Baruch's filter coffee was provided and it was incredible tasting. I decided to make the trip out and find the physical shop to buy this brand. Not being from the area, I hadn't tried it before.

I ended up visiting a few times and told all.my friends about it and also took friends there for sit down coffee and special Israeli cake.
