McDonald's Langeberg Drive-Thru — Restaurant in George

I feel this restaurant deserves a few good words. I work at a factory very close to this McDonalds and me and my colleges go there for lunch atleast once a week. Never in the 2 years I got my lunch, breakfast or anything from this restaurant I experienced bad service, bad food or any troubles whatsoever. They have always been spot on with their service/ food etc and the staff is a bunch of awesome people and always friendly, no matter how busy they are or how difficult the previous customer was. One thing I will never forget, one day I got a big Mac meal and as I walked to my table I dropped my drink and it all spilled on the floor.. I didn't even get a chance to say anything and a guy working there got someone to clean it up and get me a new drink on the house. Brilliant service guys.. thank you. Disappointing Experience!

We ordered two McFlurries—one Kit Kat with extra caramel sauce and one with strawberry sauce. The staff struggled to understand the order, and we had to explain it multiple times. When we asked them to use the McFlurry swirl machine to properly mix the ingredients, the first employee acted as if he couldn’t hear us and claimed he didn’t understand. This took so long that our McFlurry started melting, so we requested a new one.

Another staff member then attempted to assist but seems she didn't add the caramel sauce to the second McFlurry. Again, we had to explain how to use the machine. After over 10 minutes of back-and-forth, we finally received our order. The employee later told us she wasn’t sure what went wrong but blamed it on miscommunication.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Didnt give correct order. Manager was extremely rude towards us because his staff member refused to help up after she told us to come to the window and then she took one of our orders and for the rest told us to drive back around and wait in the queue. They then said to do a order we should get out the car and walk and order and the window!! How is this even professional! When I asked for his name and his staff members name he told me "walk around and find out her name." Peter for a Manager you are not suitable for your job and you honestly need some leadership training. There is a reason why amongst the Garden Route, Langenberg Mall has the worst MacDonalds.
