Mugg & Bean — Restaurant in George

I love Mug and Bean, but this Mug and Bean is the worst one I've ever been to. We were on holiday and needed to do some work. We decided to go there for breakfast and catch up on some work. I didn't even use the WiFi. So we ordered coffee and asked for the menu's. We opened our laptops and immediately the waiter was off and rude to us. She brought our coffee and then never returned to ask what we wanted to order for breakfast. After about 30 min I asked for the manager and she told me that they don't like people coming in to work on their laptops. I was shocked. We were probably going to spend most of the day there and even have lunch. She said it doesn't matter they don't like people working there so we had to leave. I thought this was unacceptable. If you planning to catch up on some work while ordering and spending money in the shop I highly recommend you not going there. Very bad...

Had lunch at M&B on 12/07/22. Food took 30+ min to arrive even though the restaurant was extremely quiet. The gnocchi was cold and tasted leathery as if cooked in a microwave. The sesame crusted beef and veg bowl had a thick doughy crumb coating which fell off the meat. The crusting spoiled the entire meal. The bacon and egg sandwich with sweet potatoe chips was completely underwhelming. The presentation was extremely bland. The chips were limp. I am sure M&B can come up with a better version of a bacon and egg sandwich. It would be good to see more effort go into the meals. I spent R579-00 and would have appreciated better from M&B. Better management will ensure a business which...

So im Friday me and a friend went to gtab a bite at Mugg&Bean at Langeberg Mall...and did we get the best welcoming and service ever... Alicia was our waitress... That lady and I emphasise... LADY... was so nice and proffesional... She was friendly and helpful in all sense of the words... Never have I came accross a waitress that knew tje many so well... She was absolutely awesome and sweet... Oh and that personality... Original and authentic... The food was absolutely delicious... I recommend the service as well as the food... Thank you so much Alicia... And Mugg&Bean...
