Pollocks Pizza Café, I must admit I stopped in late for an Irish coffee as the restaurant I was at did not serve Irish Coffees. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It did not seem to have any separation from smokers to non-smokers, however I found it to be almost smoke free despite many people there. There two divisions - the bar side with large TV for sport and a few steps down there was a dinning area with a large fire going against the wall. I am usually very fussy about my Irish Coffees and the waiter was quick, very helpful asking details how we liked our coffees. It was one of the best Irish Coffees I have had for a long time. So, mush so it put us in the mood for whisky which they seemed to have fair selection and we tried a few. The place is very pleasant. It is not child friendly and as far as I could see the upper part was wheelchair friendly, unless they had a back door, I can’t see the bottom dining area being wheelchair friendly. I am not 100% sure if that is "standard operating procedures for the venue but it put me off to the point where I had no appetite left.

Then a large group of men arrive, loud and rowdy. We asked the gentlemen if they want to sit together and moved to another table to accommodate them. We are then told that we cannot sit there anymore as they forgot to reserve the tables for said group. I understand large groups equal more money but this is very poor service for the regular patrons. Moving inside where the people are smoking in an enclosed area was not on our cards so we...
